My husband's friend's wife just posted on my Facebook wall, "Any signs of labor yet?!" Am I weird in thinking that this is kind of creepy? I know people are just excited, but I literally barely know her.
I also had someone comment on my bump picture from this weekend, "make sure you get the extra stitch work. seriously." I don't even know WTF that means and now I'm scared.
It's time to lock down your wall so no one else can post messages on your wall. (There's ap rivacy setting for that.) They can comment, but not post new wall messages.
"The stitch" is referring to a horrible practice some doctors used to do of repairing any tears then stitching you up tighter than before, supposedly for your husband's added pleasure since the thinking was that it would make you "tighter". It's considered genital mutilation and is pretty universally been decried as an outrage that possibly permanently makes sex painful for a woman. And doesn't do much for a man either.
You can block just people from commenting. But yes, this stage of pregnancy can really bring out the weirdos!! Good luck, we're all on edge here for you!

Exactly this. Which is why I chose an OB who doesn't do episiotomies, and I know would respect my wishes to not do the 'husband stitch'.
