Good morning! Blb is two years and about 2 month today. I'm starting to appreciate her new two year old personality more...letting stuff go and enjoying the changes. She's a funny girl. I was disappointed yesterday though when I picked her up from daycare yesterday and I saw some very rude/mean behavior. All the kids were sitting on a picnic bench having a snack and this younger girl kept trying to give Blb her water cup and Blb didn't want it and eventually grabbed it from the little girl and threw it on the floor. It was so mean! The teacher didn't say anything...maybe because I was there. I disciplined her for it. I hope that the teachers would catch that kind of behavior and address it because it is not okay.
Here are a couple of pictures from a triple birthday party we went to at the beach on Saturday.
OMG there is NOTHING that she owns that doesn't have stains all over it. I just accept it. I try using spray and wash stuff for stains but it never really works that well. It's all the fruit juices lately! Melons, berries, plums, etc. I love that dress. I got it from Gap and it was a little more expensive than the usual stuff I buy so I carefully sprayed and soaked it and it still has faint stains on it from all the watermelon she ate.
I'm afraid to say anything, bc last time I did, bjl proved me wrong......but we have been accident free for over a week now. We have been sometimes putting her in a diaper for nap, but not always, and it's only been wet once the last week. She wears one for bed time though.
Just had an appointment this morning and I'm only a fingertip dilated so they couldn't do a membrane sweep. My mom got here last night so I'm ready to kick this baby out! 39 weeks, 4 days. Feeling crampier at night but no definite signs.
G has been stringing together longer and more descriptive sentences lately which has been fun to listen to. But she's been fighting bedtime and DH allows her to drag it out until she's so tired she starts tantruming. I wish he would understand how much happier she is when she's well rested!
Photos are FB repeats, but all I've got this week.
oh! bjl sings twinkle twinkle little star. and she gets so excited when she hears it. not all the words are there, but it's apparent what she's going for and i just love it. we've also started to duet "love is an open door" from frozen...she's perfect at following up with the "with you" , and then when the song is over, she holds her hands up like a heart like they do in the movie.

That was taken on Saturday at 40 weeks. I'm 40+4 today with my next appointment and an NST tomorrow. Pretty sure baby girl is going to hang out in there until at least the Super Moon on the 10th, if not later.

This is when I'm convinced I'm going to have Bambino. So... we'll see!
They said no more than two weeks past my due date. We'll talk induction options at my appointment tomorrow - my guess is if she's not here by the 14th, we'll probably induce then, since that'll be 12 days past my due date and right on target for my next weekly check-in.
I had M's VERY late 3yr check today to get her leg looked at. He said she should grow out of it but if not the next step is an X-ray. But he did say that my kid is basically a giant. She is stick thin but he said her height is what most 5yr olds are sooooo yeah lol. She is apparently going to be like her momma in the height department and growing quicker than the others.
J is borderline crawling and it's pretty exciting. I almost had her last night but then she got tired and wanted nothing but to be picked up.
Last doctor visit? Next doctor visit? 12 month visit last week. About 30% in height and weight, 70% in head. Next visit will be in a few months, just for shots.
Any new developments? He's taking a few steps here and there, waving regularly, understands more words/phrases, more verbal (but not many real words), and is drinking milk.
Pictures? (5 pic minimum for less than 6 weeks and/or youngest baby). Check 'em out on fb. His cake pics are pretty cute!
and toratoratori, just to warn you, I was convinced E would come on the full moon, but no such luck.
Baby stretch is a year old! He's now sort of walking with the sit n' stand, couch surfing big time. He goes in for his one year appointment on Friday. This is from his first birthday party this last Saturday:
BabyLefty is 8 weeks old today! He had an appointment today because I thought he might have Gerd. ..and after one dose of zantac and a much easier night...I am so glad I took him in. We have his two month check up on the 11th.
The past two days I can calm him down by just talking to him and being in his line of vision which is all kinds of awesome he is definitely happy to see DH or I. Super endearing.
I am getting an iud tomorrow so I will post a question about that...doing my part to keep the board alive
I am posting from my phone so you only get two pics, one is a double from Facebook but I don't care. It cracks me up how much B loves playing with babylefty. Warms my cold dead heart.
mrslefty I LOVED that picture of H eating B's nose! And the caption was perfect Dudes are so weird.
Also, HOW IS H 8 WEEKS ALREADY?? I mean, you JUST had him
That was literally the conversation we had. Well it was followed with B saying "I know I keep sticking my nose in his mouth but why does he suck it?!" I didn't bother to answer lol.
And I know! He's so big! The only thing that makes it easier is that he is more fun now. And parenting sucks less now lol
shevacc I'm like a child. I looooove Holidays! Especially Christmas! And Easter! And the fourth...and St. Patrick's day....and...All of them...lol.
Oh good, you can stay. Holidays are the greatest!
Halloween is more fun now that we try to do a family costume and I'm looking forward to G understanding and getting excited for Christmas this year! I haven't really figured out St. Patrick's Day since I'm not a big beer lover, but the rest of them are all fun.
stretchad, I love his birthday cakes and your party decorations. He always looks like such a happy boy! At least in all the pics you post.
He is a very happy kid. So easy going. Nothing really upsets him all that much. Except for the seal at the aquarium that scared the CRAP out of him when it jumped up right in front of his face!
