I'm not convinced that anything I do will necessarily convince baby to come any faster, but I'm curious what you tried before you delivered. Or what you're trying now, toratoratori and picksthemusic. Pineapple? BCBC? EPO? Cod liver oil?
I read a study on the CDC's website saying that dates eaten daily for 4 weeks prior to labor seem to have a positive effect (shorter labors, less overdue babies, less need for interventions). I happen to like dates so I've been trying that since I figure it can't hurt anything. Last time I ate a bunch of pineapple since I like pineapple, but I don't think that did anything either.

I've been eating dates, too, but I didn't start that until this last weekend, so how much it'll help, we'll see.
I've also been encouraging more BCBC (J isn't complaining, haha), or even solo flights if he's too tired, unwilling, whatever. I refuse to do cod liver and/or castor oil - I've heard nothing but bad, bad, bad things about those, so I'm staying far away.
I'm unfamiliar with the pineapple, but it's yummy and nutritious, so why not?
I'm also making sure to do my stretches, cat-cows, squats, tailor sitting, and sitting on the birth ball, all which were recommended by my OB.
Dates, started at 34 or 36 weeks (whatever the study said), sex, walking, visualizations/meditation, some miles circuit, an herbal concoction from my midwife (epo and a bunch of other stuff), nipp;e stimulation, pineapple, spicy food, exercise ball, eventually pitocon. Early labor started 41 weeks, active labor 41-4, born via cs 41-5.
