Anyone know of a good one that I can talk about strollers on? When I was pregnant with DD 4 yrs ago/when she was a baby, there was an active one on the baby bargains forum website but it doesn't seem as active anymore and it makes me wonder if they migrated somewhere else or if there's another forum somewhere that I don't know about.
I'm having twins in the winter and I'm trying to figure out what stroller I want and what others have used and liked. I was a bit of a stroller hoarder with DD and I want to try to rein it in a little with these two rugrats.
I guess I'd like stroller(s) that's good for the mall and then good for walking around the neighborhood.
I like the double city mini (maybe the GT) and the city select double and the double BOB. I like the bumbleride indie twin, mostly because it's so so pretty.
I'll probably keep at least one of the single strollers for when I just have one baby with me.
I have 8 month old twins and I love our city select double. It's kind of a pain to take places with you because it's big, but most double strollers are. I hope your pregnancy is going well! Let me know if you have any questions about twins.

I don't know of any forums, but when you first have the babies, you'll probably want a double snap and go, so you can just pop their carseats in and out of the car. It's so helpful. Not the most graceful thing to take into tight spaces, but the baskets are huge, it's lightweight, and inexpensive.
We used that for months 1-8, and then switched to a MacLaren Twin Triumph for short trips, errands, etc. I HATED that stroller. Looking back, I would have gotten a Citi Mini double or a double Combi. We also had/have a double BOB and love it. That thing is a workhorse. We used that for parks, festivals, the beach, the zoo, etc. We still take it to big events, and after almost 4 years, I still love it as much as I did when we bought it.
I saw a twin mom I know strolling around the mall with her 6 month olds in some kind of Joovy stroller. The infant carriers were both next to each other and they were facing sideways, as turned 90 degrees from the handlebar where mom was pushing.
I have 11 month old twins, all last winter and early spring we used a joovy twin roo. It's a double frame like the double snap in go but the layout is so much better! It's shorter because the car seats sideways instead of length ways and easier to fold/expand. It's about $10 more than a DSNG and worth every penny.
We now use a baby jogger double summit. It's their double jogger and it works well for us for long walks on rough terrain and on runs.
We strongly considered a city mini double or city select but since we wanted a jogger and got a good price on ours we decided to skip them for now at least.
We also got two single umbrella strollers and clips to put them together. We chose to go that route for flying (low weight requirements) and to make taking just one places easy. We've also found it works well to wear one in the ergo and take one in the stroller.

That's the twin roo. I highly recommend it for twin infants
I have 2 year old twins. I am also a stroller addict
I never had a snap n go. I used our Bumbleride Indie Twin from the day the boys came home from the NICU because it lays flat. I didn't even bother with the carrycots even though they were so cute. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this stroller. 2 years of every day use and its still awesome. When I say every day use, I mean 4+ mile walks practically every day (I live in Boston), 3-5 mile runs a few times a month, snow trekking, rain, etc. I love that it has zippered pockets on the canopies so that I can have my phone and keys and wallet and snacks easily accessible without an additional caddy. The basket is HUGE. The ride is soo smooth. The materials used to make it are very high quality and green. I can not say enough good things about it. They make a kick board for it now too.
I have a Bugaboo Donkey and I hate it. It feels cheap compared to the Bugaboo. The boys figured out how to take the belly bar off within 2 days of riding in it. NOTHING comes inlcuded and the accessories are pricey for an already ridiculously expensive stroller. The ride isn't all that smooth and turning is not easy once the kids are a bit older than infants. It seems so much wider than the Bugaboo. The double to single feature is not that great because its still wide. When its in the double form the basket is a joke. Its a pain to fold. The snack trays were also removed almost instantly by my boys when they were a little over a year old.
I have an Orbit with a ride on kickboard. I love using this stroller when its just me and one of the boys. The seat rotates 360 degrees to face whatever way we want-front, back, side. There is a cupholder in the frame, the snack tray stays in place. It folds easily. I havent used the kick board yet because I don't trust the boys quite yet to stay on it on busy city roads.
I have my eye on the Uppababy Vista. I think I'm going to sell my Bugaboo and maybe my Orbit and buy one of those. Everyone I know here says they wish they had bought one instead of the bugaboo Chameleon.
I have heard that the City select is not so great if you have twins of different weights because it makes it tougher to push. I'm also not a fan of how close the feet of one kid come to the other kid's face.
Mine are due in Nov so I got a double snap n go (used) for when they are in infant seats. I plan to buy a BOB bc I want a nice jogging stroller in the spring.

I have 2 yr old twins. I used a double snap n go for the first few months. I got one used on craigslist for $25 then sold it for the same when I was done with it.
Now I have a double city mini and a Maclaren double umbrella stroller, I never remember if it is the techno or the triumph. We keep the City Mini in the house most of the time and use it for walks in the neighborhood and for times when we know we'll be walking around a lot like the zoo, street fair etc. The double umbrella lives in my car and I use it for running errands
City Mini: Pros: very sturdy, smooth ride, can steer one handed, great canopies, easy to fold Cons: heavy and bulky, doesn't lock when you fold it (it has a Velcro strap you can use to tie it folded, but it's a pain) takes up too much space in the trunk, the baskets are small, doesn't come with belly bar, snack trays or cup holders.
Maclaren double umbrella Pros: light and compact when folded, locks in collapsed position,
Cons: can't steer one handed, the buckles are a pain, canopies aren't great, but I don't use it for long walks so it doesn't bother me. Doesn't have a belly bar or snack tray,
The City Mini was the stroller I really wanted and spent $$$ on, then when I realized it took up my entire trunk and wasn't practical for quick trips I bought the other on CL. I wish I had spent more on a nicer double umbrella since I use it so much more,
