Sooo anyone started thinking about what they will dress the youngins up as this year? I absolutely love Halloween so I've started thinking but today it was decided for me. We went to Costco where they have a few costumes out a few weeks ago but today they had two huge double racks out. H was with us and M ended up wanting to be Merida from the Brave movie. I'm glad she finally changed from spiderman (still unsure where she picked up on who he was) because the spiderman costume was pretty badly made.
So now M is going to be Merida and H came up with the great idea that J should a bear so they go together. I'm slightly excited. Minus all the glitter on the princess dress its on everything. After Halloween there will be gold glitter everywhere in my house.
It briefly crossed my mind, but I have no idea. He should be walking by then, so it will be fun this year.
ETA: actually, if I could pull of Russell Wilson, that would be awesome! E has his curls! But, it would be lame if it just looks like he has on a jersey.

Navy leggings and a baby football helmet will make it look legit!

No idea yet but I really want to do a family costume before G refuses to go along with our ideas.
You guys always have cute family costumes. Every year we start plannig something and then it gets to be too expensive. I'll need to plan earlier and DIY some of it.

Thanks! We tend to get at least part of our costumes at Goodwill each year which seems to help keep costs down.
Bkb wants to be mini mouse. I just need to buy her costume.
We got M's Minnie costume at Costco last year and she still wears that thing. Granted the ears are long gone and the gloves are in dire need of a wash but it held up pretty well

Did you see them there when you went the other day? If so I'll stop by after work.
We don't usually do halloween but this year we're going to be at a party with all the other PEPS babies and parents. We need a good family costume for the 3 of us. Any ideas?

G's first Halloween, we dressed her as a bee, DH as a bee keeper, and me as a naturalist. My favorite family costume was the one that went as the game Monopoly (older kids, though). Dad as the monopoly man, mom and one kid as various pieces, another kid as the board.
We are all going to be vikings, I already have the baby costume and need to find adults ones. I don't know that we really have anywhere to go besides trick-or-treating, but I love Halloween.
