i just saw a commercial for the chips ahoy blizzard. very sad about throwing away half a bag of shredded cheese. i still have to eat breakfast but am just wandering through the kitchen. i want a coke zero, not an actual food item. day one.
i'm going to the grocery store this morning and also picking up a food processor, so i think that will help w my lack of enthusiasm. i know i will feel better w/o dairy and so much sugar. i KNOW. i just love it.
Lunch will be a salad with chicken, (compliant) bacon, and eggs which sounds good, but I'll see when I eat it. Lunches are going to be the hardest meal for me, I think, in terms of boredom.
DH checked in, he has a massive headache. I tried to convince him to do a shot of coffee (he hates coffee), he said no. Sugar and caffeine withdrawals are going to have him hurting for a while.
Dairy is my weak spot. I had cream in my coffee and FETA cheese for lunch.
*for some reason, I didn't complete my thought yesterday. It was the CHEESE! :-)
I don't officially start until next Monday. But, I have to start stepping back my dairy. The only dairy I consume is in my coffee (half and half) . Feta may/may not count. But, I am trying to decrease my reliance on it. Dairy in my coffee is the hardest. I read the Whole30 description yesterday---

I felt like such a crybaby after. I need to suck it up and do it. I'd give myself a grade of B- for Tuesday.

I'm day 0. We are starting tomorrow (first timer, yikes!). I boiled eggs and grilled chicken for lunch Bc that's all we have in the house. I was going to start Monday, but hey why not tomorrow?!
Going to research meals etc tomorrow to make it more interesting.
