So I didn't have time to pack lunch today so I went to Cracker Barrel today and order the country ham (no sugar), two eggs, and a fruit cup (I'm sure I don't want to know what they cooked the ham and eggs in) but a girl's gotta eat and I'm working at an offsite in the boonies so this is practically the only place around that isn't fast food.
She brought me my ham, eggs, and fruit all right - along with hashbrown casserole, biscuits and gravy (and the biscuits were done EXACTLY how I like them, a little underdone), and grits.
I tried to tell her that's not what I ordered and she said, oh this comes with the ham and we always give out samples of grits.
OMG lady!
I told her I couldn't eat that and made her take the food away (and I hate to waste food when so many go hungry). Scraping the hashbrown casserole onto another plate almost made me tear up a little.
I guess this is my Day 4 wanting to kill all the things moment. LOL.
I got poached eggs - I knew scrambled would be way too risky.
But I won't lose sleep over this and am not starting Whole 30 over (not that either of you suggested it but I've been doing a lot of reading on the whole30 board and they'd probably say I need to), but to both of your points, I will ensure I come prepared for lunch from now on...even if that means setting the alarm a little earlier.
