Creepy

While I was at the store today, I saw a woman with one of those Reborn Dolls. She came up to me and made small talk about Jackson, and I looked down in the carseat she had in her cart and did a double take.

She seemed so normal! Her young kids were helping her I guess, and she kept telling them to "Give your baby sister her pacifier" and "Shhh she's sleeping". :-| I couldn't get away fast enough.

I had to google what these are. I'm already creeped out just looking at pictures.

Maybe she was trying to train the kids how to handle an infant before a real one arrives?

Oh wow, that's wild. I've heard about the doll before but haven't seen one in real life. Did the kids seem like it was "their normal" and not weird about the doll?

I've never been a huge fan of dolls to begin with. Those just creep me out. They're a little too real looking for my peace of mind.

I really hope that's the case. Otherwise those kids are going to need years of therapy

I know! I've only ever seen them on creepy TLC shows. They acted totally normal. I didn't actually talk to the kids, but they seemed to be treating it just like a real baby.

I just googled the doll. The images really almost made me cry. Why in the world would anybody want a doll to look that real?
