Hmmm...that doesn't really hit the same flavor note (other than Asian). I think there are some compliant fish sauces out there, otherwise you can mash anchovies and add some vinegar.

What? You are cray. Fish sauce does not taste like soy sauce/coconut aminos.
carrotsmakemefat, just skip it if you can't use it. It just adds umami, but I don't think there's a good replacement.
