Hello! Weekend was nice. Beautiful weather (it was 84f, and this is winter!). Saw a few friends. Relaxed. That's about it. Hoping the weather is nice this coming weekend as well since we're trying to plan DS's bday party!
QOTD: I have a leather wallet that zips up. It's large (can fit airplane tickets). I keep all my international credit cards, my frequent flyer cards, and foreign currency in here. As well as my passports. That way I always have this ready to go for flights and can grab everything at once.

Hello!
Today is fairly quiet. I've done things around the house, and I made pretzels for dinner.
My weekend was great. We spent Friday night in Melbourne. DH had a seminar on Friday and then we celebrated my birthday Saturday, with a wander along one of the major shopping streets. I found a copy of a book I have been looking for for $10, yummy pastries, and some Jordan Almonds, so it was a great time for me.
QOTD: If it's just me traveling, I use this travel wallet. If DH (or anyone else) is traveling with me, I use an expandable check file. But sometimes, I'll re-use one of the really nice document wallets Holland America used to give out with all the cruise documents.
My weekend was crazy. There was a brewery tour and Malaysian dinner on Friday night, and my boyfriend arrived in the middle of it, so I had to leave the keys to my place in a locker at the train station. Then we went out with friends after the dinner and suffered a brutal hangover Saturday. Unfortunately, boyfriend flew in because a Brazilian friend of ours was hosting a (two-months-late) Festa Junina party that started at 1. We donned our traditional costumes and dragged ourselves there around 2:30 and stayed until midnight, at which point I felt like I was going to die. But we couldn't sleep in on Sunday, because my good friend was visiting from France and we had brunch plans at 11, which was followed by International Restaurant Day. I'm still recovering from all of that.
QOTD - See pandce.proboards.com/thread/357507/pro-travel-tip My boarding passes typically get tucked into my passport wallet. Other documents (hotel reservations, printed maps, activity bookings, etc) are stacked in chronological order and either folded in half and placed next to my iPad in my purse or if there are tons, I put them in a plastic document folder.

Hola!
Weekend was good! Very quiet and relaxing, which is good because classes start next week and we won't have many quiet weekends. DH will spend his weekends at the office, and I'm sure I'll be busy!
Today has been good, busy day at work then heading home tonight, may need to run to the grocery store. I was hoping to relax at home but not sure that's going to happen ;-)
QOTD: I have a passport wallet I bought on Etsy, but it isn't quite long enough to hold the boarding pass (hence my question) :-P I'm looking at this one, but it's pricey! I'd like to find a cheaper option :-P

This weekend was low key. It was days 5 and 6 of potty training my toddler. Sunday we went to a farm animal zoo with just my DD while DS stayed home with grandma and grandpa. Then we had some friends over with their kids for a hot tub party. 6 kids ages 2-10 all in a hot tub. It was a lot of fun
Today is kinda sucky, DD is moody and DS is in a wonder week/growth spurt/teething and hating most of the world. I currently have DH wearing him as she works since nap time for DD now equals go potty 50 times time.
When we travel we have a big padded folder that has a few pockets for various things. We call it the important document folder. It works for us and is not easy to lose.
Hey! Our weekend in Norway was super hectic and I need a weekend away to recover from it: we did a tour of the fjords around Bergen on Friday (up at 6.30) then went out for dinner and drinks until about midnight but were kept awake until god knows when because of people partying all night long at the harbour.
We were then up too early on Saturday to take the bus & ferries to Stavanger where H's friend took us on a major pub crawl from about 6 until 2.30 without getting any proper food into us. Didn't get to (his 4 year old's bottom bunk) bed until 5 as he was trying to make us toasties. Up at dawn (well, 9) because his kids were screaming bloody murder, probably something to do with having been expelled from their bedroom...
Suffered major hangover and quite possibly brain damage on Sunday having travelled back to Oslo so that made me miss a GTG opportunity with GilliC as I barely knew my own name by then & there was no way I could pretend to be a civilised human being.
I've been fighting the urge to sleep at work all day so I'm definitely looking forward to a week of early nights
QOTD - Until this weekend I'd keep my boarding passes in a separate, easily accessible zipped part of my bag. I have however just discovered the miracle of mobile boarding passes and I think I'll stick to that from now on.
All other documents are kept in chronological order in the same part of my bag in a plastic folder thingy.

I found mine at TJ Maxx. They always have these things in the random accessories section. Can't remember how much it was, but probably $15-20 at most.
My weekend was boring. I started cleaning my couches that just arrived from our sea shipment. I'm still cleaning ithem and I think I'm making them worse at this point.
QOTD I have a purse that is about the size of a travel wallet, just thicker. I hate carrying purses and I used to carry a travel wallet all the time but that thing was ugly, so I bought a wallet-purse. The wallet part of it has credit card holders and a passport pocket. I carry it daily so I just add my passport when traveling.
I'm looking at this one, but it's pricey! I'd like to find a cheaper option :-P
That's ver similar to the Vera Bradley one I use when I'm traveling on my own. Unfortunately, it has been discontinued (and I know Vera Bradley isn't everyone's style.)
I found a couple of other, cheaper, options at ebags:

Oooh those are both good options! I have a hard time searching for a travel/passport wallet because they always end up showing me passport covers. I like the options at ebags.
As for Vera Bradley, I actually got a purse and wallet for my going away gift and it's been quite useful on trips I've taken! I don't mind the patterns :-)
