Not a mom but i can answer this! 

getting married, thanksgiving and our mini vacation to ocean shores!!

30 mos, 10 mos

2yrs/3yrs, 9 mos/12 mos

bjl has the best sentences ever. she is fully capable of communicating her train of thought...."hold on mommy. i want to help daddy take his vitamins. i'll be right back. don't put your boob away".

boy now takes one step and falls, instead of falling on the first step..so there's progress! he'll be 10 mos this week, so i think this is faster than bjl. the one and only thing he's done before her. he still doesn't have teeth!!!!

i'm getting terrified about planning boy's bday party, and then halloween, and then thanksgiving, and then our family's annual party, and then christmas, and then all of a sudden it's bjl's birthday. life is happening too fast. i guess that's what i'm scared about...what i'm looking forward to is some upcoming travel end of this month and september.

how old is your baby or your bump, or where are you in TTC cycle? She's 8 days today. So weird. This whole last week has been a blur.

last dr appt? next dr appt? We have a weight check tomorrow. I also want to talk to them about her poop (namely, that she's not doing much of it, even though I'm drinking two full Nalgenes a day).

milestones? She kind of almost slept through the night? She kept us up til 2, then fell asleep, woke up at 7 to nurse, went back down, and is still sleeping. It's after 10:30. I'm hoping this is evidence of her being a good sleeper (like her mama!) and not just a fluke. Also, if she could amend her hours so we could get to bed at a more reasonable time, that would be awesome.

what are you looking forward to about fall? Colder weather. Pumpkin spice Starbucks. Halloween and baby costumes!!

Wow that's some great sleeping Tori! Blb didn't sleep that long until she was much older.

Jenn- you and your family are adorable. I want to smooth baby boy's cheeks.

Blb is like 2 years 1 month and 2 weeks? She's so funny! We had a blast at the beach with H's extended family. That girl is a runner though. She escaped from the house twice. Scary. We normally keep our doors closed at all times bc we have pets so this isn't as issue at home.

She's making complete sentences and saying some funny things "oh mah goodness!" And "eww stinky p u."

I don't know if I already shared these beach pics. The one of her sleeping was from this morning. We had a long day yesterday so I let her sleep in until 8:15 and she still didn't want to get up. She would just say "no" and hide her face. The other two are from our vacation last week.

M is 3 1/2,   J is 8 months       also not preventing from getting knocked up.... 

I need to call an set up J's 9 month apt in the next couple weeks

Milestones: M doesn't really have any she is just a walking, screaming, bundle of interesting. J is so close to crawling but is starting to be more curious in standing and walking instead. 

I am looking forward to everything about Fall. It's my favorite.

dana86, are you guys planning on more kids or are you just living dangerously?? Scary!!

I have an IUD right now, and I talked to h about getting a vasectomy, also. Our plans were for him to get one a few years from now, but I think I'm SO terrified if being pregnant again, we just don't have sex. Before, we always knew that *if* we got pregnant, it would be okay. Right now, we have no plans for more.

HS health class really got to me in the SEX ALWAYS = BABY talk.

jennlin we are hoping to do one more then be done. We both have such tiny/non existent families that we wanted to try and start a good base for our kids and their future families.

After this though I am hoping I have convinced H enough to do the vasectomy. Preferably sooner than later afterwards since my friends husband had it done and they say the guy needs to ejaculate something like 70 or 80 times before trusting to go at it without protection.

G is 2 and a third, A is 4 days old. Her appointments are yearly while his last one was Monday and we have another quick check up on Friday primarily to make sure he's gaining weight well.

She is adjusting to being a big sister and will tell her friends and teachers at daycare that A is her baby brother. She loves helping but is struggling with bedtime and less attention overall. I'm tandem nursing them at night and first thing in the morning which seems to help her feel included.

A was born...I think that's a pretty good milestone.

I love fall, especially fall in New England, but here too. I'm excited for this year now that G is old enough to enjoy the activities. It's such an exciting time of new beginnings -- new (daycare) school year and the start of a bunch of fun holidays. I'm hoping to do a pumpkin patch this year and G has already picked Halloween costumes for all of us.

E is 12 months and change. He's walking more and more each day, working on transition to more sippy cups and less/no bottles, lots and lots of babbling and teasing and personality. He's also eating much better and he's been a little pig lately. I guess all that walking is tiring him out and/or he's going through a growth spurt.

I love fall! Football! Sweaters, coffee, leaves, everything!

dana86 I want three too. I have a big, close family and I'm really close with my cousins and sister.  But my kids probably won't have cousins or cousins will be much much younger. So I want to make up for that.

H is....10 weeks. 2 months old. 
He had his two month appointment a week ago and got shots next appointment in two weeks to reevaluate his GERD 
Milestones?  He rolled over (tummy to back) but it was a total accident.  He was just throwing himself around because he hates tummy time and whoops, over he went. I'm not counting it. 
He's really close to laughing.  He does a semi laugh coo when he finds something funny/pleasing.  I'm ready for that first laugh. 

No pics this week.  I suck. He and I have been setting up my classroom since my sub can't get paid for it. So I'm exhausted everyday from balancing a baby and cleaning cupboards.

I mentioned this in today's good morning post but bkb is getting really close to being potty trained. She hasn't gone in her diaper since yesterday at school. We're putting her in undies next week. Fingers crossed after a week she'll be a potty trained kid. Other than that she's been in a great phase right now. Total sweet heart.

She went to the Disney store today with grandma and grandpa. Here's her new Sophia dress up:

mrslefty Thats another issue is H is an only child and my brother (I hope) is no where near having kids so when he does I'm going to assume they will also be quite a bit younger than my kids. Then theres the fact that on my side my mom is out of the picture and H won't ever let her around our kids for things she has said to me, so there goes all that side of my family accept for my dear aunt who could care less and has really stepped up to make sure she is apart of my kids lives. Then on H's side his mom lives 2hrs away and his dad and step mom live in Michigan. So we really don't have much of a family support system around and it wasn't until H's dad and step mom moved that he realized how much it affected him. So we are hoping to at least start a good base for our kids so when we get old and aren't around anymore they will have each other and that good support system.

I totally get that. I have a ton of family around and it is wonderful.  I want babylefty to have that so badly (it makes me teary lol) DH is an only child and his extended family lives in different states. So he doesn't have the same feelings as me

This is part of the reason I want to have multiple kids, too. I'm an only and all of my cousins are much, much older than me, and everyone lives back east. Dan has a bunch of extended family and they're all super close. It makes me incredibly jealous.

It's funny b/c I don't think E looks like me, but he looks like my dad & bro. I guess it's just the boy version of me.
