printing pictures

So we are coming up on our 3 year wedding anniversary. I think it's time I get a photo in a frame. Where is a good quality place to print an 11x14?

I'm at 4+ and don't have any. We had a blow up with our photographer, because she got super pushy during the wedding. I have all the images electronically, but my husband relives what a pain in the ass she was everytime he sees a picture, so I haven't pursued getting any prints or albums.

Eek, this makes me so sad to hear Actually, I have heard this story over and over from many people and I can't imagine a photographer doing this, especially if the albums have already been paid for. And I can't imagine hounding a customer to order prints.

Is that bad that this post just made me feel confused on how many years we've been married. How will I ever remember when it gets up there if I'm struggling already? In any case, I still haven't gotten any prints made other than the ones my photographer gifted us for referrals.

Ok I'll start looking when h gets home and takes this baby. I've only ever printed at the kiosks before so I really don't even have a clue what options there are. Isn't it just matte or glossy? Lol

They have pearl paper, metallic paper, linen paper............a shit load of options. Plus their is canvas and all that crap too, LOL

Oh cool! Well I have an 11x14 frame that is like brushed silver that I was thinking of using for a black and white. Then i want to pick one good color of the 2 of us to have matted and framed, along with one of A's newborns and one of her 6 mos. I was kind of thinking bright and cheery for those. Do you have a suggestion for paper?
