Favorite Vacation: Backpacking through Europe is my favorite but I guess that was more of an experience than a vacation. For true vacation I would say our recent trip to Portugal
Favorite Charity: The one I work for. TBH, I don't have one favorite but I'm working in the field has made me picky about who I will support. I usually look at their 990s and financial statements before giving.
Favorite Part of Parenting (kids or animals): Knowing with 100% certainty that even in my worst moments I am damn good at this motherhood gig. And with that finally having something I have full confidence in.
Favorite Grade: I really liked junior high. My favorite teacher was my second grade teacher though.
Favorite Midnight Snack: I love asking DW to whip up a batch of guacamole for me.
Favorite Vacation: Maine in the summer or Disney not in the summer
Favorite Charity: Um...I don't know. There are so many that do amazing work.
Favorite Part of Parenting (kids or animals): Big bear hugs, spontaneous "I love you"s, watching them learn something new, seeing the pride in their eyes when they do something they didn't think they could do.
Favorite Grade: A+. I loved first grade. I had an amazing teacher and was the teachers pet.
Favorite Midnight Snack: I am rarely awake at midnight and if I am, I don't like to eat that late. But I do like a swig of limeaid from the fridge.
Favorite Vacation: Camping in Twisp/Poplar Flats for two weeks every summer as a kid.
Favorite Charity: Our foster agency.
Favorite Part of Parenting (kids or animals): Kids: Seeing who my kids are growing up to be. Animals: Watching these 4 kittens run around (they sound like a heard of wild horses) and wrestle with each other.
Favorite Vacation: Provincetown, no doubt. Australia was amazing too, but it doesnt have the same "coming home" feel as cape cod. Favorite Charity: cant pick just one, but obvs I'm passionate about foster care Favorite Part of Parenting (kids or animals): sibling interaction. love it, love it, love it. Favorite Grade: straight A's of course High school was pretty good for me, but really, i was crazy about grades - if i couldnt do well in a class, i didnt like it Favorite Midnight Snack: i'm never up or eating then...i do enough damage during the day to ever be hungry then
1. Our honeymoon is Curacao. It was so fun. I can't wait to go back and take E. I do love me some P-town 2. March of Dimes...surprise surprise 3. I love being the way E looks at me. Total and complete love. 4. I really liked pre school. I also loved my 4th grade teacher but then we moved so the first half of 4th grade was awesome. 5. Not up usually but I love to eat chips and salsa. I like salty snacks.
Favorite vacation: New Zealand. It was just unbelievable. So relaxing, everyone so friendly, amazing sights and experiences. We talk about going back all the time.
Favorite charity: I love Heifer International, and there is a small charity in DC called Pets-DC that provides food, exercise, vet care etc. to pets owned by people with HIV/AIDS and terminal illnesses so that their owners won't have to give them up.
Favorite part of parenting: When I check in on them in the nursery after a rough evening and they're sleeping so peacefully and I remember in a rush how beautiful they are and how very blessed we are to have them.
Favorite grade: 5th. My confidence was at an all-time high and I had a great teacher.

Favorite Vacation: Apostle Islands every summer. It is a great extended "family" gathering Favorite Charity: I love Heifer International. Favorite Part of Parenting (kids or animals): Watching the sibling interaction fills me with a feeling that "we are doing the right thing". I am with two on the feeling--I don't have an advanced degree, I may not have been good at some other things I have done, but at the end of the day, even when my house is a mess, I know these kids felt loved while they were here. Favorite Grade:Senior Year of HS--I had a good group of friends, felt ready to conquer the world Favorite Midnight Snack: Ice cream. I'm trying to eat applesauce in stead.
Favorite Vacation: either Newport or the UK Favorite Charity: there's a Boston charity that has a home for homeless lgbt youth that we've given to Favorite Part of Parenting (kids or animals): When Henry says "Mommy," when I can make him feel better just with my presence/attention, the smooches and hugs, seeing his vocabulary grow and watching him conquer new physical feats, sleepy snuggles. Favorite Grade: Definitely high school, hard to say which year. I had a lot of fun. Favorite Midnight Snack: Well, it's never midnight, that's for sure. But before bed I love me ice cream
