I have to leave babylefty all week. If I miss the trainings this week they take them out of my paycheck so he's staying with my mom and sister all week.  They are thrilled but I'm not at all. He's so little   
It's only a week and they live close enough that they're bringing him to nurse at lunch but I'm still unhappy.

Okay done whining and now for my question.  I have never leaked until recently when babylefty started sleeping 6-7 hours. Then I'm waking up soaked and in major pain at about 5 hours. Does it get better or should I just set an alarm to pump at like 3 hours?  If I don't pump/ feed him middle of the night will that affect my supply during the day?

I was told that our milk supply increases at night so it's best to pump / feed even if you want to get some sleep. I would get up to pump if I were in your shoes.

As for the first question, I have no idea if it gets better. Let me know

you mean staying with them just during the day, right? not 24/7? you'll be okay momma..hugs.

since he's still young right now, i'd get up to pump, just a little to relieve engorgement. if your supply is otherwise healthy, you don't want to create a bad habit, but having lots of engorgement could end up hurting your milk supply.

I would pump in the middle of the night to keep your supply up. My supply took a hot when I went back to work and wasn't around to nurse on demand. You will a okay!!

Okay I'll pump middle of the night for now. My supply has always been really good. As evidenced by his rolls lol.
jennlin it's only during the day, I'm just being a baby about it and I'd rather stay home and play with the baby

It will be ok, I'm sorry! It's much harder on you than baby at this age at least so there's some comfort there. I would probably pump at least a little too.
