Hey! That sucks that your boss is terrible. I hope they can take care of that for you. How are your other coworkers so far?
This is our last week here! Holy crap. Movers come and we leave all on Thursday. Eeeeeeeek! My mom is coming today to play with A, which was a last minute surprise and a huge relief.
I could not fall asleep last night...and then the dog was up crying a few times during the night. Thankfully, I'm off tomorrow and Wednesday, so I just have to get through today!
Ugh pinkplasticdoll I'm sorry about your new boss. Hopefully the big boss can do something for you.
I'm up earlier than I've been in 3 weeks because today is my first day back. I didn't get enough sleep and today we have the review of physical interventions/holds/restraints. Whee. Long day. Therapy in an hour, then work all day, then PT after work, then a date. Eek!
Oh, and the bf interviewed 2 Wednesdays ago for a job 10 minutes from the house. They called him twice last week just to tell him that they were still working through the internal HR stuff (like an FYI kind of call, although it would have frustrated me if someone was just calling me to say "no news yet"). Anyhow, he has a meeting with the department manager this afternoon for coffee. They better have an offer for him after all this waiting for a real phone call. I would love to see the bf more often - he currently has an hour+ commute each way, and it'd be nice to see him before 7 or 8pm
I'm *still* waiting for a rejection or "we want you" from a company I am dying to work for. I interviewed with them June 6.

Yeah, chalupa, it's still posted. I would love to work there. It's a bio-tech and the position is in their new Genetics Center. Two emails to HR have been ignored.
I'm bored at work....I literally have 20 minutes of work to do all day. So I'm looking up different Doctor Who cakes as DD wants one for her b-day. I'm also planning to look at zombie stuff later to gear up for the zombie pub crawl in October.

I'm sleepyyyyy today.
I thought of Muddled yesterday because I came home from the cycling clinic and cooked like a mad woman. 90 minutes later, dinner was done. We ate and then decided to take a walk. We were negotiating when would be the best time for sex, before or after dessert. We decided before so we went upstairs but it was too hot. Cue a trip to Walmart for a fan. We get home, and P is all "YESSSS DESSERT!" and I was all "no no no, sex first!" Thank god it was a quickie, because then we still had time for dessert, lol.
So...no BJs but a really good dinner, 3 different desserts and sex....it counts, right?

I feel pretty productive. I got up this morning for a cleaning at the dentist. Hurrah that I've been doing a good job and don't need anymore dental work. After 5 crowns I'm over it.
I then rode my bike to the grocery store, picked up what I needed to make slow cooker black bean soup with chorizo for dinner. It's my first time making it so I hope it is good. I then cleaned up around the house.
Yesterday was a total lazy day. Dancing on Saturday night along with yoga ensured that my legs felt like jelly. H was hung over. We ended up going to brunch at a new place. walking those 3 blocks was so hard. Brunch was amazing though. I had chicken and waffles for the first time ever.
chalupa, he's got the job. Either that job or an alternate position within the company. Exciting!! For HR to contact him twice just to say "hang in there, we are just going through red tape" is very rare, let alone if they know the person won't be hired.

I'm tired today. My phone randomly decided to change time zones in the middle of the night so my alarm didn't go off this morning. DS has soccer practice tonight and I'm anticipating an uncomfortable discussion with Xh about my nephew's dog. DS was being an asshole to him yesterday so he snapped at him. He got nipped in the cheek. I'm sure Xh is going to freak out about it. Should be fun.

I have a doctors appointment in an hour and I'm getting another cortisone injection into my bone in my hand. Last time I had this it hurt so bad I fainted. I had nightmares all night last night.
Omg! I have four people coming to pick up some big items we've had up for sale on CL for a while. I was getting so worried. More stuff gone and another $200 in mah pocket!
Our house appraised for 4k less than our contract price. This lady has been so difficult I doubt she will meet us in the middle with 2k in cash. I hope so, especially considering we have made almost all the repairs she requested.

Shit. Hopefully she's reasonable, rather than trying to get another appraisal done.
Yeah our options are we negotiate the 2k or take the hit at this point. We can put it back on the market, but honestly I don't think that's a good idea - we may lose the same money with a different deal or lose money in more mortgage payments or even have another similar appraisal. Blah I feel like everything through this process has been unnecessarily difficult.
You can fight that appraisal doglove We had to do that for a small amount on our property. Usually the bank will come up to meet you for the sake of the sale.

I applied for a job working in a lab. I've been out of the lab for 4 years, so I hope they're willing to overlook that. I mentioned in my cover letter that I read scientific literature on a daily basis as part of my current job, so I'm still up-to-date on all the latest techniques and such. *fingers crossed*

I lived through the shot!! It helped a ton last time so hopefully it does this time too. I really need to just get the surgery to remove my extra bone but it is 8-12 weeks recovery and I work too much with my hands. They gave me juice and a lollipop to help.
