Annie's tooth surgery

Well it is done. What a stressful Mommy experience.

She went into the OR at 7:30 in the morning. They had me in with her til she went to sleep. They didn't tell me about the way she would thrash the last few seeconds before she went out. It was one of the scariest things I have seen.

Her teeth were way worse than we had thought. She needed work one on 11 teeth. She had 4 root canals and caps and 7 fillings.

She was in the OR until after 11am. Then in recovery she would only wake for a minute , then she would go back out again.

After we left the hospital she slept almost for 24 hours, except she would wake up to cry about her throat hurting. i guess she got pretty scratched up from the intibation tube.

She is finally starting to eat some applesauce and soup.

I hope we never have to go through this again. She handled it all like a champ though. No fussing, crying or fighting. She did everything they asked her to do with no problems. They were very impressed with her and called her princess - which she loved.
