After this morning's run, I hit just over 1,000 miles for the year. Last year I did almost 1,300 so I should pass that number easily with marathon training starting in Nov.

What are you Awing these days?
Congrats!
Which marathon did you pick? Are you running Albany again?

Congrats!
I got to my designated bailpoint today that I could turn home and do 3 miles, but instead pressed on and did 5 miles, I usually bail. Also I ran up all the hills, I usually end up walking part of them.

Great job, ladies.
I went for a 4 mile run tonight despite wanting to bail. Three miles in, I thought to myself, I'm tired of this - I wonder how fast I can get home. I ran a 9:39 fourth mile. That is so fast for me! It really helped that the weather is gorgeous.
Sub-8:00 on my 7.6 miles tonight without even really trying! This weight loss thing actually works, plus it was a little cooler tonight than it has been. Nice job everyone!
I have 2. I tripped and fell during my run yesterday at mile 6. I fell hard and then got dragged like 3 feet by my dog who was confused when stopped and saw me on the ground. I'm proud of the fact I picked my butt up and finished out my 10 mile run strong.
Even though I feel sore from that fall, we had plans to go hiking today. I did not want to cancel our plans, so we went out and hiked 10miles through the mountains as planned. It was so worth it too! And I'm soaking in a hot bath currently.
I finally closed my eyes and did it- I registered for the Metric Marathon. It's been causing me more anxiety than necessary, and I hope that I can just stop stressing about it now. I've never run that distance and probably won't until race day. But I'll get in with a slow pace group and just focus on finishing.
Last night's track workout was 1600 repeats at 10K pace. Mine were 7:59, 8:02 and 7:39. I've certainly never done a 10K at those paces, but I'll take it! That was a fun workout.
My AW is that last night we did 800s, and the pace we were running at felt pretty easy! It was 95 with only about 50% humidity, so it makes me think I am actually getting faster (since it was still hot and all, although not as humid).

Way to go jamalynn! Good luck tackling next marathon. You're laying the base for a great one.
I'm probably around 800 miles for the year. I'm old school and track in a notebook, so I'd have to add it all up. It's been a busy year, so doing the best I can here

Oh yes, I am old school as well. Fortunately, this year, I have done a good job adding up my miles every month.

Probably. I need a spring marathon that is close so that one works for me now. After DH gets through law school, I have my sights set on Chicago and some other fun ones though.
Albany also helps my chances of getting to Boston.

Definitely! That's a fast course. There might not be much in Albany, but I really enjoyed the course for the half. Flat, but with just enough slight ups & downs to use different muscles, plus a strong chance of good weather. I'm sure you'll have another great race.
