I'm not sure if we are invited to just a party or the actual baptism? It's at a farm about 15 minutes away from where we live.
They probably already have tons of religious stuff because they go to church weekly and have bible study at their house about once a month.
I think I will just go with cash in a card. Would I get a card for each boy? Something addressed to the parents? I have never been invited to a baptism before and I don't want to mess it up.

I think cash in hand is a good idea. I would probably get one card and stuff the cash in there with a Congratulations Jack and Tom! (Jack and Tom are the babies, not the parents)

I would give them each money and there own separate cards. Although they are twins, they are two separate people. My mom's an identical twin and I asked her and she said separate cards.
We were invited to a baptism for twins (close family friends). We did one card with a check made out for each kid. Cash is fine, I would only do one card though.
If you want to give them a little gift, don't assume they have a bunch of religious stuff. We fit all of the descriptors you listed, but appreciated books, children's Bibles, etc., especially for DS1. DS2 got a really cute board book that focuses on how Jesus loves everyone that we all really like.

We invited about 40 people to each kid's baptism. Most were from church, but a few were friends. The kids did not get a lot of cash. They got books, a piggy bank, picture frame, child's Bible. A little cash, but not much. I think some denominations make a bigger deal of it than others, but for Lutherans, a small gift is more than enough. Also, if you do a check, don't make it out to the kid. It is 1000x easier to cash or deposit it if you make it out to the parents.

Yeah, we got several cards, a children's Bible, and a few books. No cash. It's definitely not the norm at my church but I know that varies by denominations.
