milestones? Nothing new this week, unless you count sleep refusal.
labor day weekend plans? Plan first birthday party and stay home without guests. We've had visitors, have been traveling (locally) or have had ham-packed weekends all summer long and I am looking forward to a break. We also have a list of house/yard stiff to tackle.
Next doctor appt at 4 months and 3 yo Labor Day plans are heading to in laws in central Washington for 3 nights. Hope it goes well. First time away over night with whole family.
last dr appt, next dr appt? 9 mos, 12 mos & 2yrs, 3yrs
milestones? boy is standing up for a lot longer on his own right now, and can officially take one step before falling--he shoots for two, but can't make it just yet.
bjl has the most complicated and hilarious sentences ever. she fully understands everything we say, including "the light isn't turned off", and she'll go into the closet to turn off the light she forgot to. she demands to pee on her own without help..and the way she pulls up her undies are twisted and half on, and just so much fun.
labor day weekend plans? we are headed to dallas for a weekend trip.

Hi! I am doing surprisingly well for only being 4 days pp. I am healing pretty well, and I even pooped today!! I am so happy I didn't have to wait 6 days for that... B is doing really well. He has lost about 12% of his birth weight but we started supplementing (at the breast with a Lact-aid supplementer) and he's doing great with that. He is so stinking cute with these cheeks that I cannot stop kissing! I have made peace with my birth even though it wasn't the VBAC I wanted. I labored hard for 5 days, got no rest, and when we finally made it far enough to be admitted he couldn't descend. I was grateful for everything that they did to help me try to get him out. He had such a cone head!! Lol But here are some pictures of the cuteness...
E is almost 13 months. Walking better and better each day. I need to schedule an appointment in a few months to get the rest of his vaccines and a flu shot. He's eating pretty much all table food and drinking mostly from a sippy cup, but still a bottle in the morning and before bed most days. He's super funny and laughs at everything.
ETA: Labor Day plans are Sat picking up my mom from the airport then doing a birthday/draft party at my dad's. Might go to the zoo on Sunday. I also need to get some cleaning done and some baby proofing done and a few errands. Side note: I got married on labor day weekend, although our anniversary doesn't fall on this weekend. Either way, the whole weekend/week is kind of sad. Definitely won't be doing our usual trip to Golden Gardens and Cupcake Royale.
A is 1.5 weeks, G is 2.3 years. We're taking A to his 3rd doctors appointment tomorrow (previously we went for his 3 day and a weight check). We're doing his 2 week visit slightly early due to Labor Day. G has an upcoming appointment with her allergist 10/1.
G is moving up to the preschool class next week! I'm excited for her and equally torn about how fast my baby is growing up.
I think my ILs are visiting for Labor Day weekend. But they're flaky so they could still bail if they find better plans. Though I hope they'll prioritize meeting the newest grandson over bingo or poker with their friends. We'll be staying home either way.
We have official crawling today from J, so a fun milestone. She also has gotten a hang of sitting up on her own from laying down. She has been doing it from a crawl position so now she's got it figured out from all positions.
For the weekend we are getting ready for our first camping trip in our travel trailer. Pretty excited as we are heading to the beach.
BabyLefty is 11 weeks old! He spent the week with his adoring fans aka my parents and sister who literally doted on him the entire time. One day I came back to fund the three of them around him talking and playing with him. Yesterday when I dropped him off he was fussy and my dad said "babylefty no crying at grandpa's house!" BabyLefty immediately started smiling and talking to my dad. My heart! I love that he'll have a good relationship with my parents.

how old is bump and/or baby? 17 days.
last dr appt, next dr appt? We had an appointment with her new pediatrician yesterday after firing the family care physician she was seeing. We have another weight check next week.
milestones? She's finally gaining weight! She lost so much after birth and is way behind, but I'm hopeful we can get her back up to her birth weight by the 3-week mark.
labor day weekend plans? Nada. Dan's mom is here til tomorrow, so we'll hang around to give her more quality baby time. Other than that, just snuggling and trying to get some sleep.
toratoratori how come you fired your original doctor?
We went in for two appointments at 2 days and 9 days, and he didn't examine her at either appointment. The first time I thought it was just a fluke; the second time I was like, "You seriously don't care enough about my baby to look at her and make sure she's developing correctly." He also told us her weight drop at 9 days to 7 lbs. 1 oz. (down from 8 lbs. 2 oz. at birth) was "normal." How that didn't set off any red flags for him is beyond me, especially because he knew I was EBF.
ETA: I have a whole thing about it on my blog that I can PM you the link for if you want. This is the TL;DR version.

PM me. I'm also going to PM you about our feeding schedule...idk if that's the right word...routine? That helped my supply and BabyLefty gain weight. He lost 1lb 5oz in 3 days and I was terrified.
