In an effort to boost morale, my boss bought a Keurig machine for the office. But we have to buy our own k-cups! (I'm not really complaining, it's just the first thing that came to mind).

H was given a plant and a tote bag after his eye surgery, which is weird in and of itself. The surgical center hands this out to all patients. Anyway my FWP is now I have to keep the damn thing alive.
I caved and drank a diet coke, even though there is conflicting info on how long to wait before consuming carbonated beverages after having wisdom teeth extracted. I am scared of dry socket, but everything feels pretty good. Or maybe that's the pain killers.

I never knew you weren't supposed to have carbonated beverages after wisdom teeth surgery. DH was craving chicken nuggets the day after his and I got an extra value meal with a Sprite for him. This was like 8 years ago but oops!

Obviously, I am pleased to hear he survived I am just living life on the edge.
For reals, I am deathly afraid of dry socket. This girl who worked for me 15 years ago smoked after having her wisdom teeth out and she was a totally miserable, hot mess. I've never forgotten that. Eek.
I ordered super tall socks and they arrived this weekend. My apartment complex didn't tell me, so I missed out on wearing them today and it's a tall sock sort of day.
I have to buy a fireproof safe because I just got the title to one of our cars. I'd rather buy something fun.
I take a yoga class at work once a week. During one move the instructor said to me, "Sorry, M, I know this move is tough." Now I'm paranoid and upset that I was breathing too loud, or that I was visibly struggling with the move (it wasn't difficult, but it was an ab pose so I wasn't exactly steady).
I know I'm a fat fuck who breathes loud. You don't have to call attention to the fact.
DH gets invited to local business events that some vendors sponser. A few months ago, they went to the Nike factory and everyone got to customize their own shoes. DH said if there was another event at Nike, he would make some shoes for me. I needed new running shoes for a tri next month, so I bought some on Monday. On Tuesday, DH was invited back to Nike to make more shoes! Now he's going to make golf shoes for himself instead of a custom pair for me!

Could you check with your bank about safety deposit box. May be cheaper than the safe. I think we get ours free, with our checking acct.

My bank offers them, but they are like $75 a year or something. I might as well buy one and have the one time price, vs the constant charge. I still want to buy makeup though.
We are in the middle of kitchen renovations, should be done by tomorrow night after the plumber comes in to reconnect the sink. So today is day 3 of take out and I've had enough of take out.
DH and I sleep with two sets of queen blankets on our king bed so we don't have to share. Even though I left a note with the cleaning company to not make our bed and it was very clearly (but poorly) made with two sets of blankets they remade our bed so the blankets were all covering the entire bed yesterday so I had to unmake it and remake it. *grumble* This is like our fourth cleaning company in five years. I so miss our original girl who moved.
My cleaning ladies talk shit about me in Spanish. They don't know that I speak Spanish but I'll feel like an ass if I call them out on it.
You have to tell us what they are saying about you. It can't be that bad if they're still your cleaning ladies, right?
They always comment on things DS is doing, like how he was a year old and wasn't walking yet, or if he needs a haircut. Last time they were snarking about "She only has two kids and doesn't work, so lucky!" I work from home and was at the time, but it still stung, lol. They are sweet as pie to my face in English.
