You guys!!! Remember my rant about 6YG and how he never takes me out and he comes over late; we have sex; then he leaves in the morning. I kept going back and forth on why he was behaving like this. I had so many thoughts going through my head like "he doesn't want to be seen in public with me", "He's out of my league" etc. I am working on this in therapy. I let it go because I was having fun with the sex and companionship and I know I have insecurity issues that I am working on through positive thought replacement.
Anyway, last night he had off from work. He took me out to dinner (he paid everything). We went for a walk on the beach. Then picked up some wine, and rented a movie. He slept over ( no sex, just cuddling) and he just left.
I am so happy right now! I really like him and I am excited to see where this may go, but trying not to get my hopes up.
ETA: one of the things I really like about him is that he put the toilet seat down! Oh and not just the seat, the lid too! ::swoon::
So my UTI is pretty much gone, and now I have a motherfucking pimple or some such thing on my labia. I haven't had one in YEARS, and I know its from working out. I am breaking out along my bra line, too. But the lower one? HURTS. Poor TL has been staying here this week, and sex just ain't happening. Good thing he likes me.
I am taking 6 classes this semester, and so far two have been canceled. This does not bode well. I get cranky when the professors can't make it to class when I make the effort to be there, on time, and ready to learn. Blah.
I am going to pick up some pictures that MG framed for me, and TL wants me to tell MG about him. I have kept strangely silent about him, and I know that if I do this it will be a very awkward conservation. TL wanted to go with me, he said he'd pay for the framing if I let him. NO SIR.
Happy Thursday, everyone.
When I used to work out I broke out all over. I started using my facial scrub on my body then washing it was body wash. It helped a lot!
I have been apartment hunting for a month or so now. I live in a very HCOL area and things in my budget are few and far between. I have seen places that seemed okay in the add but looked horrible in person. I have called to request a viewing of places that were posted that morning and they were already rented by evening. Ugh...so frustrating.
I have now begun looking into apartment shares. I would prefer not to go into a separation living with a stranger though. I wish I had a friend who wanted to live with me! They are ALL married and/or living with their SO. Boo.
I'm hoping for a slow day here. I went to bed a bit late and waking up was a bitch. My whole life, I've had to be somewhere by 8am...why doesn't my body like to wake up early?? At least it's Thursday!

I sold my e-ring back for $3,000...Too bad most of it has to go to a debt. boo.
I cant find anything my dog can't destroy. Nylabones for 50+ lb dog...split. A very hard rubbery bone...destoyed. She's only 6mo and 35lbs. What do people legitimate big dogs use?
I'm eating everything in sight, which must mean my period is about to start. I have fun plans this weekend, AND college football season starts Saturday! Woo hoo!
Happy Thursday ladies!! I'm am glad it's a holiday weekend and College Football starts back up!
My random is that I dreamed about about leaving teaching and going into educational consulting. I have been thinking about this but maybe it's a sign that I should consider.

I'm gonna jump in and try to be active here. Sooooo I think that I've mentally decided we are done and I have no hard feelings, just guilt. I'm calling to restart therapy today. I also have my first appointment with the attorney today. I'm so nervous. Also I lost almost 3 pounds this week. The only good part of all the stress lol
callunafirefly have you tried kongs filled with treats like peanut butter, yogurt, etc? kongs are the only toy that will stand up to my 65 lb pittie chewing machine

Good luck! I am in a similar place right now (except I have been stress eating/gaining weight LOL)
Therapy is definitely helping me work through the guilty feelings.

This is what I was thinking too. The black kongs are the toughest. I fill mine with wet food and freeze it. It takes my dog quite a while to get out the food. Also, she knows if she wants this treat again to return the toy.

Yep, I have the giant black one, it's held up for a few years so far! (I replace them every few years as they start to crack and she starts to break down the end of it).
My 5 yo was nominated for the ice bucket challenge from another 5 yo & a 2.5 yo. Really? I think young kids being involved is taking it a little too far.
S is cracking me up lately. She's talking a lot. I started singing Dora The Explorer's Backpack song to her and she looked up at me and said "YEAH!!!" I love that kid. Even though I have to change her sheets every single day because she plays milk artist and pours out her cup and bottle on her legs, feet, and mattress...lol.

WOW...awesome idea. She has a kong but by itself is pretty boring and she wants nothing to do with peanut butter. I don't want to use the commercial kong spray stuff because of the ingredients. The frozen wet food is an awesome idea. I can't wait to try this. Also do you think the task of getting the food out of the kong is "brain" stimulating? Our trainer says that some of her behavior is because she is bored and she needs more intellectual stimulation.

I totally agree with this. BF's kids were nominated by one of his ex's redneck friends. Oh yeah...because a 6 and 3 year old totally get the point of a charity donation.
My 4 year old did it and I had her help me make the donation. I used it as an opportunity to teach her about charity.
That being said she was not challenged, she saw me and FI do it and wanted to do it. I told she had to give to charity and we only put 3 ice cubes in her bucket. She challenged adults because I don't think a child should do it unless they really want to.

When T and I did the challenge, we challenged my 6 year old nephew to do it. He thought it was so hilarious when he watched us do it so he was excited to do it too. I've seen a lot of kids do it, if they grasp even a little bit about the meaning behind it I think it's worthwhile. If a kid was absolutely dead set against it I don't think anyone should make them, but most seem to think it's fun.

yes, i use frozen wet food like locarb does, too. it has made all my dogs tired, and this would be really good stimulation for a puppy! pro tip: you may need to adjust your food amount and bathroom trips - i usually cut back a little on my dog's regular food when i give her a full kong, and expect to take her out an extra time or two! hope this helps, and also, pics of your pup, please.

This week has been crazy at work so I am looking forward to a long weekend! And I'm taking a half day tomorrow which will make it even better.
An acquaintance called me yesterday to chat after she heard I was going through a divorce. She is also getting divorced and wanted to see how I was doing. I think I am going over to her house on Sunday or Monday to drink some wine and catch up. Yay for a potential new friend!
When I used to work out I broke out all over. I started using my facial scrub on my body then washing it was body wash. It helped a lot!
I have the same problem when I am working out too. I break out all over my back and chest. I started using an acne body wash from Neutrogena that has salicylic acid and it seems to help.
I sold my e-ring back for $3,000...Too bad most of it has to go to a debt. boo.

Where did you sell it? I am trying to decide what to do with mine at the moment.

Returning to work after vacation is hard - but at least I only have two days to get through...
I have my last fancy restaurant-week dinner tonight with a guy friend, his wife and another guy friend. After this my diet/exercise routine needs to start in earnest!
