Had a family shower sunday and work shower yesterday. I have my family shower and a friends shower in September and so excited for them! It's nice to finally start filling the nursery.
Had a Dr appt Tuesday but no u/s. BP and HB were great so that's good. Dr said pretty soon we'll talk about labor so at my appt in 2 weeks I'm going to ask exactly which date we will so I can make sure H comes.
I've been really slacking on exercise. Walking just isn't fun so next week I'm going to sign up at a pool and do either water aerobics or just swim myself so my legs get exercise.
I am still laid up because of my back/hip and am so bored. On the plus side, I have been doing some online shopping, so I finally have some stuff for the baby!

24w5d today!
I have an appointment is 3 hours. Excited to see our little guy! I'm also excited because I believe this is the appt where she has me do my iron test and GTT (not really excited about that but want to know/get it over with). I am kind of hoping my iron is low because at least that would explain why I am tired all.the.time and could actually do something about it.
I have managed to keep up my exercise plan. I walk twice a day nearly all days that I'm home (during the week, only 1x/day on weekends) and then 1x/day on in-office work days. I even tried riding my bike on Monday...let's just say that was a very humbling experience! I have done 3 Ironmans and 7 marathons and yet a 5 mile bike ride was much harder than I expected! I'm glad I decided to do a test ride before attempting a loop I wanted to do, which includes a decent uphill section...I'm not sure I would make it up the hill based on my current fitness.

22 weeks 2 days and still not feeling my normal self. I am tired a LOT, but at least I am keeping food down more often. I have an appointment in 2 weeks 1 day to discuss a birthday plan! It's getting so close!
22 weeks today. A coworker told me my belly has popped. I feel huge but I know I have a looong way to go. I can feel the peanut moving and kicking a ton, which I love. I'm envisioning a little Tasmanian devil inside me

Hi! I had my baby on 8/23 at 12:49am via repeat c/s. Not exactly how I planned, but after being in hard labor for 5 days and no sleep, I was grateful for it to be over. Baby and I gave it our best shot though so I am happy. He is doing well, eating well, and is super cute if I do say so myself. He was 8lb 10oz, 21" long and has a lot of black hair.
We had our nine-week ultrasound and all went great. My last time in the RE office is Tuesday and then I'm off to the OB!
We announced on FB today, which is super early, but we've had to delete three comments already from people who know and H's extended family basically only communicates through FB, so we did it. I am praying we don't live to regret that.
Everything is going pretty good. I took a two hour nap today. I feel like I am showing a little now. Not really for anyone who doesn't see me all the time, but noticeable for close family.
This week was hard because it was 1 year since my first m/c and the EDD from my second pg. I'm glad to get past that.
We haven't announced on FB yet but I am thinking about it. I don't know how I want to do it.
I'm feeling good! I had a good appt this week and passed my GD test, woo hoo! I love feeling him move around more. He moves some during the day, especially after I eat, but he usually moves the most when I'm laying in bed at night. Love it.
My pregnancy hormones are in high gear lately. I have gotten teary-eyed or cried multiple times this week, over ridiculous things, like a rude TSA agent, telling our cats goodbye before going out of town, my feet being swollen... We're out of town for my brother's wedding this weekend, so I have been on my feet most of the day, and the second half of the day I was wearing heels. I drank tons of water, and have them up right now, so hopefully that helps. It's too early for cankles and Fred Flintstone feet.
