Now that its over 100 degrees everyday, I wear my hair up all the time.
I used to sleep with my hair in a high bun on top of my head but now I leave it down in the hopes to decrease breakage from being pulled up all the time.

I sleep with my hair up, I can't stand it all over my face when I sleep. I do have more breakage than I'd like, but have never put two and two together that sleeping with it up may be the cause.
I've heard that sleeping with it in a french braid is a bit easier on the hair, but mine gets really kinky when I do that and then I have to spend extra time straightening it in the morning. "Ain't nobody got time for dat."

i leave mine down. although, I once read that two low buns (BUMPY!) will help a blow out last. and some friends sleep in silk scarves to protect from damage.
I should do that. I have a ton of long hair. My bun is getting scary big.
Down. Reduce breakage and it gives me a headache to keep it up; plus recently with the humidity I've been showering at night and wearing it wavy; it'd be too bumpy if I slept with it up and attempted to wear it wavy the following morning; as in a bad-bumpy

Up, usually in a loose bun with a scrunchie. I can't stand it on my face at night, it keeps me cooler, and I have very sensitive skin so any product on my hair will cause breakouts if it's hitting my face at night.

If its straightened I usually wrap it, tie it with a silk scarf and sleep on a pillowcase. If I'm feeling lazy or sick, I just tie it back with a scrunchie.
If I'm wearing it curly, I put a bonnet on top and sleep on a satin pillowcase.

This! So up, I guess. Because my hair is pinned up. Except for when I'm tired and I don't wear a scarf. I'm always so mad at myself the next morning, because I'm going to have to straighten that day!!
Up but loosely so it doesn't leave a kink in my hair or pull as much. Or in a low pony tail, again loosely tied. It gets too tangled if I leave it down, and in the heat it just feels gross.

Down because when I have slept with it up, I get that ponytail bump (I shower at night). If I showered in the morning, I'd probably wear it up at night to keep it out of my face.
