I'm halfway through season 2. I love it. I know y'all hated the ending so much so I'm wondering when I should stop watching to avoid the disappointment.
Season 4 was my absolute favorite season of all seasons, so at least keep on through that. I was hardcore hooked right up until the bitter end (like, last couple of episodes) but no season could match season 4 so I guess technically it was downhill from there for me (though still good). Season 5 was probably my least favorite of them all.
I miss that show like crazy but thinking about the finale gets me all ragey again. How dare they ruin the best show ever with that abomination of a finale!!!!
I won't tell! But it wasn't just one thing that made it so bad. It was EVERYTHING. Every single part of it was awful. Did not do the show justice in the least!
Did anyone ever make a statement about it or anything after? What about the actor that played Dexter. Did he win any wards or make any speeches after? I'm afraid to google anything because I don't want to see spoilers but it's so weird to me about the end because I'm coming off Breaking Bad where the last 3 episodes were so epic that Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston are like superstars now, and here I don't even know the Dexters actors name.
It's Michael C. Hall and he's on my "celebrities I tried to stalk but was never successful and I'm sad about it" list, haha. Anyway, I don't know about any statements afterwards. I was too mad to read follow-up! I may have to Google.
I haven't watched Breaking Bad but might have to add it to the list. Did you love it?
Ha! He is very sexy. I loved Breaking Bad so much I watched it twice in a row and liked it even better the second time. Well it's not exactly "better" but the second time you saw little pieces that you wouldn't have known about the first time and it's fun. You should definitely watch it! Your babies together are SO sweet. The picture of Ellie sleeping on him is so heartwarming!
Thank you! It's quite possible Ellie actually likes him more than we do, lol. (Kidding, obviously, but man, that girl is SMITTEN.)
Yeah, we may have to look at Breaking Bad. And maybe Madmen or something. Dexter is pretty much the only relatively-currently popular show I've watched. Oops.
Season 4, yaaaaaay! My fave. John Lithgow - amazing. Let me know when you finish the season!
I actually went to a watch party in NYC with members of the cast (got my pic with Detective Quinn!) for the season 4 finale. It was so cool and one of my fave NYC events of all time.
