Witches of Eastend season 2?

We dropped cable so I didn't realize it started. Is it worth watching? I did like season1.

So far I'm not enjoying it as much as I did season 1. Its feeling more disconnected to me and is much darker than season 1 was.

It is darker than season 1, but I am really enjoying it. There are several new characters this season.

I enjoy looking at Killian no matter the season. :-) But the lighting is awful - I feel like I have to squint to see what's going on.

And yes I feel like both the story lines and the filming itself is so much darker.

I haven't quite figured her out. Maybe something that came through the portal or was attracted to him once he "got" his powers. She's either opportunistic or "affiliated" with either the king-grandfather or Killian's cult-leader grandfather.

I am in the not as good as season 1 camp. I have to get caught up though, I've only seen a couple of episodes. I still like it and will keep watching. Much agree that the lighting sucks.

I just started watching this show last week. I'm almost caught up! Finished episode 6 of season 2 a second ago.  I like it, even season two.

When Freya was searching for him, they said he was with his spirit animal, the owl.  And IIRC, the spirit animal was protecting him.  She has the owl on her back, so she's the spirit animal.  What ever that means.  And I think there's more to Killian than his family.  Victor was talking to Freya about reincarnation so there's got to be something else going on we just don't know yet.

After this week's episode, I feel better about her staying behind. (Providing she is telling Dash the truth.)
