Mine didn't. Everything spread. I got back to my PP weight twice and I only went down to a size 8 (previously was a 4). It's no big deal because I think I look fine but I had to get rid of a shitload of clothes. Like, all of them. Even my shirts fit different.

I found it really varied from item to item. Sorry that doesn't help with the purge, but worth holding onto done fav pieces until you can try them on later.
Yes, but you had a miracle pregnancy and felt so normal that you didn't even know until after the first trimester!
...I'm not jealous.
I also had a difficult labor, but I simply don't talk about it.
And gestational diabetes, which is no treat, trust me.
I never had morning sickness with either of my pregnancies, but did have GD twice, including developing it early the 2nd time. I think I would rather have had a difficult first tri.
I asked this a while back and got similar responses - I think it really totally just depends. I'm hanging onto stuff I didn't need to purge anyway for now. We'll see. I'm worried about my shoes and rings.
I couldn't fit into my shoes toward the end of pregnancy, but they all fit shortly after I have birth. Fingers crossed for you both.

My clothes don't fit the same, but they still fit. My boobs are bigger from nursing, but my ass is also rounder than pre-pregnancy. Which is definitely not a bad thing lol. I just fill out pants better. I'd wait til after you give birth to see what fits. Also, congrats from a lurker ?
I weigh the same. My belly is not the same. I don't think I can wear A&E jeans ever again. Hips are also bigger. The belly impacts shirts for me too. I really should work harder to get some more weight off since I wasn't in shape to begin with but DS plus life makes me want to sit on the couch when I get a chance.
I think it makes sense to wait until after you have the baby to purge your closet.
I have to do something
I have two hampers in my room that are being used for storage purposes on top if what's in my closet and dresser because I can't ever get rid of anything, I always talk myself into keeping everything.
I had been hoping to make this easier lol
They will fit again (2yrs after I had my son all my clothes finally fit again!) it took a while

Well, if you want to get rid of clothing, get rid of it.
It sounds like you want to let go of stuff regardless of fit.
Get rid of stuff you haven't worn more than a couple times in its respective season this past year. Also anything too small for your current size.
It's hard to predict what will happen. I've not been able to get back to my pre preg weight no matter how hard I try, some women lose the weight but their bodies have shifted, and others snap right back. Invest in Rubbermaid and pack stuff away if you need to.
It took me 2 years after my first kid, but I was underweight before I got pregnant. Also I gained a full cup size after each kiddo and even now that I'm losing weight, the boobs are staying
