I wanted to give a quick update on A. He is doing much better and so is my supply. I ended up starting my period 1.5 weeks early so I'm assuming that is what caused the dip. I was also able to re-introduce gluten free oats and have been eating these homemade lactation balls every day and I've noticed a difference. We are both gassy but he doesn't seem uncomfortable. I'm so happy. I'm now feeding him on both sides per feed which is new but it's helping. I've also up'd my calories by 200/day and I think that is really helping. I try to add avocado oil and avocado to everything.
I took him in for another weighted feed by a lactation consultant and he took in 4.3oz total (both sides). So that's great news!
I think he is teething right now and he is VERY distracted so it's difficult to nurse him. On Sunday he went 7 hours during the day without nursing. I kept trying to nurse him but he would start looking around and turning his head and unlatching, was not interested in nursing at all. Then he was up every hour that night to nurse. X never did this but I assume it's normal for his age?
His reflux seems so much better. We still haven't had to restart the prevacid which is great. I'm treating it with a homeopathic and it seems to be helping for now. I think the corn free is helping a lot.
We take him in again this Friday for another weighted feed and will keep going every Friday to keep on top of things. He has started to fall off the curve so the pedi wants to keep a close eye on it (and so do I).
He hasn't pooped in a week, but I think that is normal for BF baby? He is farting a ton but no poop.
I want to thank you all for your support, I don't think I'd be able to get through this without you all. You are such a great, amazing, loving group of ladies. Thank you.
We see the pedi GI on Monday so I'm making up a list of questions I need to ask. If you can think of any please let me know as I'm sure I'm forgetting something!

Yay!! That's more than quadrouple your last weighed feeding, that's great!!!
Annabelle is 6 months, and in that I am so distracted I don't want to eat phase. She starts to eat a lot, and latches and unlatches and blows rasberries. My nipples are not happy! I hope this phase passes quick for both of us.

OMG my nipples are so sore. He will pull away and turn his head, with my nipple in his mouth and then slowly let it go. Not fun!
oh yeah and William too has been distracted and pulling on my nipple.
He'll act like he's starved then latch on then suck for a few seconds then just start staring at me, smiling, or trying to turn his head this way or that.
if the TV is on for Matilda I can't feed him in the room, he is fascinated by the TV and will do anything to get a glimpse
This is such a great update! Thanks for posting, I was thinking about you guys! J is distracted lately too. I've been having to feed her side lying in bed with white noise on.
Oh this is fabulous news!!! 4 oz? That's awesome! I'm so glad things have finally turned the corner. Even though it's been awhile, I recall the frustration of the distracted phase! Good luck!!!
