Are you guys constantly cooking and grocery shopping? Good lord! Even with cooing up a bunch of items, we go through everything so fast with breakfast lunch and dinner for two.
Yeah, my life pretty much revolves around cooking. Which is fine, I wouldn't change it for anything, but the lack of convenience food is sort of annoying.
And yes, I feel like I'm cooking all the time! The worst part is I have open house tonight and I had class last night so I haven't really had an opportunity to cook much and I'm worried about what I'm going to eat tomorrow.
For me it is more about revolving around meal planning, and making sure we have a plan before we get hungry. We usually always cooked dinner (5-6 nts/wk anyway), and really lunch is leftovers or we batch cook once or twice a week. So I guess there's a bit of cooking on the weekends, but weekdays is normal. It's the planning and researching recipes that is time consuming for me.

Day 4
I am loving all the cooking right now as I am only on day 4. I have a mental picture of what we are having for the next few days, then back to grocery shopping.
I am liking the change in my morning routine to cooking eggs instead of eating cereal and wasting 30 minutes on the internet, but by dinner I just want something faster. Last night I went to make the char sui recipe from well fed and our pork was bad luckily we could sub in some beef, but it was annoying.
Also, I need to publicly patmyself on the back lol. I had a 7 am flight this morning and woke up early enough to make breakfast so I wouldn't be tempted by the Starbucks in the airport. I also brought nuts and a banana to have as snacks since I don't know when I will be eating. This is a major behavioral change win for me!

YES! I love this! Planning ahead makes the healthy decisions so much easier. *highfive* to you!

Day 18
We usually cooked most meals at home anyways, so the amount of cooking hasn't really changed for us. I do prepare a little more for breakfasts on Sundays - making hard boiled eggs or banana nut porridge, and we usually grill a big batch of meat on the weekends to have for lunches.
Day 18. I'm eating a lot of the same stuff over & over so not a ton of cooking. I was buying mass amounts if produce though but that's slowed down some. My need for a lot of fruit is gone. How's everyone's ummm...digestion? Mine isn't awesome but then again, it never is hence part of my problem.
