Are Local Boards coming over?

mine went to proboards a while ago = when the changes were rolled out to the local boards (before the rest of the nest). We have been LOVING it and have more action now b/c it's private - lots of lurkers now are regular posters, who were afraid to post on a public board.

Our local nest died awhile ago after everone went to the local bump. TB local then left after the FB fiasco. The link is still around there somewhere but I never went to the site. I wonder if it was proboards?

Mine went to zetaboards years ago.

They can be created upon request in the Local section. We aren't going to mass-create all of them, since a lot of those boards landed elsewhere are are doing fine. But orphaned locals can come here if they want to.

CT went off on an active board after a conversion. It is by invite only. I stopped posting because it was too much of a time suck and I wasn't digging it anymore.

Both of mine went to FB. 1 of them as a group and the other was basically there anyway since a lot of us are friends IRL since we have all be on TK, TN, and TB FOREVER.

Austin has its own proboard now - most of the regulars went there, and it's very active.

Houston created a separate board after the local roll out and it's very busy and fun. Like GailGoldie's, the local is private and it's brought out a lot of people who never posted much on TN.
