Butt cream?

Cili has her first diaper rash. What kind of cream should I be using? Her pediatrician recommended A&D but everything online says it doesn't work with cloth diapers. I've been using Earth Mama Angel Baby but it doesn't seem to be doing anything to treat the rash.

My favorite was Burt's bees. It's suuuuper thick. Also, just the her some diaper free time.

I bought CA baby b/c I planned to CD and that's worked fine. Also coconut oil. But, he's never had a bad diaper rash. He just gets a little red sometimes and then I use one if those.

You can use the a&ad wuth a disposable liner or a fleece liner. Or use coconut oil.

I've used California baby too. Or put him in a prefold with no cover or a wool cover and changed him really often. He's only had little rashes in his rolls though lol.

Oh sweet! We use the disposable liners anyway because it's easier to see when she's wet. So it sounds like A&D should be no problem.

And yeah, the rash isn't bad - it's just very red.

I've tried at least 6 different diaper creams. I disliked most because of the smell or the inability to spread somewhat easily. I would recommend the Aveeno diaper cream. Good amount of zinc, no smell, and decent spreadability/stickiness. Tip - put the cream on the diaper then pat onto her butt...that way you don't have get your hands all gloppy.

I love this. It does eventually separate, but we've used the same tube since he was born and that didn't happen till summer (so 9ish months). It smells nice, c works great and goes in easily. Requires a liner.
