Since I took the afternoon off of work to watch my friend throw out the first pitch at the m's game yesterday, I had to work last night to get caught up. Boo. It wasn't too terrible because h was in the same boat too. It was totally worth it though!
Yesterday was actually a good day healthy stuff wise. I didn't stuff my face at the stadium and I got a ton of walking in today. I think I might be getting to that point where the weight is going to come off a lot slower, so I just need to stay on track, keep moving and stay focused on the prize.

I didn't do so great yesterday eating wise. I made a small cake for Tman's birthday since my mom is coming down today to celebrate. I trimmed it so I could stack it and before I even knew what I was doing, I ate the trimmed pieces. After I did, it was like "Oh crap" like I didn't even know what I was doing! Then, hours later, I did pretty much the same thing with the chocolate butter cream.
Now today, I have to eat a piece of the finished cake, too, and off we go on our trip this afternoon so I'll have a + at the next weigh-in, I'm sure.
Not much else going on today. I just have the checklist of getting ready to leave and then getting Tman ready to leave, still without him knowing we're going.
Happy Thursday!! I am off to get a not-so-healthy breakfast with my dad (he is only in town for the wedding, I haven't seen him in 2 years). Then at 2:30 I have an appointment for lash extensions. Has anyone here ever tried them? It was a gift at my bridal shower, and I am excited to see how they turn out, it will be LOVELY to not have to wear mascara while on our honeymoon in Cabo.
Anyway, I'll try to get in and check in every so often, but tonight is our rehearsal dinner and then things will be pretty crazy through the end of Saturday, thankfully I have the app so I can take the boards with me
Good morning! I'm so tired. We both, E and I, slept like crap while H was at work. I think I took E out of his crib at about 1am and brought him into bed with me. The room was way too hot so I turned the fan on and opened the window. I really can't wait until we have a house and enough room to give E his own bedroom do that he doesn't just wake up and stare at us the whole time and whine when no one gets him out of his crib. I'm hoping that I he can't see us it will be better. But that will have to wait until we get a house.
I'm off to work again. It will hopefully go by faster than yesterday did. I'm so ready for Saturday when I don't have to get up before 9am if I don't want to.

Me too. I think last week's big loss was water and sodium. It just kind of came right off...plus the difference in weigh-in times made a difference on the scale.
I think each pound is going to be a struggle now. This morning was 2 lbs down from Sunday, but I am sure that will come right back on with all the eating out this weekend.

Last night I got a lot accomplished for the bridal shower I'm hosting on Sunday. I have more errands to run on my lunch break today. I'm so tired, I really hope I don't catch the bug you around work. No extra healthy plans today. happy almost Friday ladies!

Hi! So glad it's thursday! Almost done with the late-shift nonsense! I really really miss my H, since we only see each other about 15 mins a day during this shift. It's really hard when you're super stressed, and your rock just isn't available. At least he worked tons of OT this week and last, so we'll be getting a good bonus come next week.
I have a girly-doc appt tomorrow, and my dad was supposed to come with me, so he could hold bjl when I went to the back- but since I fought with my mom, and essentially about their decisions as a whole, I don't know if he's going to come with me. Moms/medical people-- is it ever appropriate to bring your baby to the gyno? I could ask MIL to go, I just hate being so dependant on her.
Anyways, have a great day ladies and niq! And no! No healthy stuff for me today! Meeting coworkers at the start of my shift (noon) for a going away-lunch at a mexican restaurant.....and I LOVE refried beans. Yum! I don't actually have to be in to work today until 1:30. Yay!

Let me tell you 4 is too old! I had to take Tman with me once - my babysitter fell through. I took some of his toys and thought he would just play the whole time. He did and was to the side of me facing the wall, but sure enough, when we were on our way home, he said to me, "Mama, is that thing that the doctor put in your bottom still in there"? So, I think babies are fine - especially if you don't think she'll cry. Older children, not okay.

Morning all! I just have a crap ton of work to get done today, and otherwise will try to stay on track with eating and either get a run or some gym time in. I got bored just elliptical-ing at the gym last night and was jealous watching H on the weight floor, so I tried to just use a couple weight machine. Pulled my wrist funny trying to adjust something and made it hurt. So I pouted, did some crunches and went home. Guess I need a little more time before I really do anything weights-related... l miss lifting

Good morning! Yesterday I walked about 4.5 miles for my morning and evening commute, that is about 2 miles more than normal. That's a good thing because I didn't have time to go to the gym last night. I'm still worried that my week 2 is going to be like a typical Week 2 on Biggest Loser.
I stayed up too late watching Top Chef Masters last night, so now I'm a sleepy zombie today.
It's a convertible carseat, doesn't easily detach from the car or have a carrying handle thingy. (Infant carseat is the kind that you see people carrying around. We bought one that is for bigger kids, but has/had an insert in it for babies).

Yesterday I missed the gym because I spent the whole morning shopping for insurance for mom. L is being a pain about money stuff. She keeps insisting that we hire a third party to pay mom's bills. I feel like this is super patronizing to mom, and also that's just more money down the drain. Until we are sure mom isn't paying her bills I feel like we should let her do it.
Today I'm WFH because I have to get to Bellevue to pick up stuff at 5. So no gym today (it's near the office), and no gym tomorrow either (leaving early to start painting the fence again).
parade yesterday was fun! not too busy today, but I'm stupid and planned a big experiment tomorrow... on my birthday lol, I have no one to blame but myself! oh well. at least there will be cake
Did you go to the Seafair Pirates Parade? The route is really close to my house. Mostly it just got in the way for our commute home. I wish we were more settled in, I would have gone. It seemed like there were a lot of kids out there.

Started getting a headache yesterday evening so that nixed my plan to go for a walk after dinner. Instead I watched some tv with H then sat at the computer too long, then went to bed and read for an hour. I did come in under my calorie goals though. I don't get why MFP is all stern at me for being 138 under and warning I'm going into starvation mode as that's not drastically under.
Tired again this morning, makes it harder to make healthy choices. Really craving combo fat/sweets foods. it's been two weeks of the healthier choices and I'm hitting the slump where I'm getting a little cranky and feel like stomping my feet and "rebelling." I just want to eat something without thinking about its calories or how it's going to affect the rest of my food for the day. I know being really tired isn't helping, but I feel like a tantrum.
Jen, I would think the bumbo would work just fine for keeping here in one spot for the few minutes it is needed.
Nothing too healthy happening here. Ate way too much while home yesterday and I think I'm also holding some water. Good times. Going to dinner and to see Magic Mike tonight with a friend. Going to be hard to resist french fries or sweet potato fries. I'm preparing for y'all to easily take my money.
