What do you have? I work out for about an hour and a half four mornings per week, and I definitely will need to do these meals on those days. So far, my ideas are basically an egg beforehand and them some chicken and sweet potato after, but I am afraid this will get really old, really fast. I love eggs, but when I did Atkins a long time ago, I remember tiring of eggs after a while.
I also will have to do a pre-workout-ish thing on the days I work (I work 12-hour shifts as a NICU nurse) because there is no way I can eat a big meal at 5 AM when I wake up and then have that be it until lunchtime (12:30ish). But I think an egg would be okay those days...or maybe some chicken that I can just nosh on real quick in the morning.
I'll be incredibly honest: I think the pre-workout meal is the weirdest suggestion in the world. Eating protein and fat before I do intense exercise? That's a super easy way to make me vomit! Therefore, I've never done the W30-suggested pre-workout meal.
For post workout, you can do any lean ground meat + sweet potato or potato or starchier squash or banana. Lots of combinations to be had!
