I an currently running in Brooks Adrenaline, and my LRS thinks it's too much for me. I am going to a new, specialty store that is awesome and does video treadmill gait analysis.
I am looking for something new because the Adrenaline is rubbing on my left foot like crazy, and my feet are almost being pushed out (inner sole is being pushed up) by all the support and stability stuff in the Adrenaline. I was fitted for these years ago, and kept being refitted for them, but now with 1.5 years of consistent running, they think it's more stability than I need.
Anyway, the manager said he recommends that I get a neutral shoe and start alternating with the Adrenaline to get used to it and see how it goes.
He said he could put me in any number of shoes, but obviously can't guarantee that I'll like them.
So, what's your favorite? Why should I spend $100+ on it to try it out?

Before I sprained my ankle, I ran in neutral shoes. They were the asics gel nimbus. I loved them so much, they were like running on clouds. If I didn't need the stability, I would still be wearing them.

I like the brooks ghost. Brooks Ravenna is a guidance shoe, so not as aggressive as the adrenaline, but not neutral either. It just corrects the foot if needed

Good suggestion, you might like the Ravenna's. They weren't supportive enough for me, and I still had some pronation issues. However, they do offer more support than your standard neutral shoe.
Ooh, thanks! Looks like I can get the 15s really cheap at running warehouse, and it's offering VIP for $1.99. We may have a winner!
YMMV of course, but the Nimbus 15s were a disaster for me, complete with achilles injury. I am fairly sure I'm not the only one who disliked the changes from 14 to 15. I have had 3 or 4 consecutive pairs of Nimbus 14s and love them (I hoarded and have one left NIB!) but I will start from scratch at the LRS when I run through my last pair of 14s rather than try the 15s again or the current 16s.

Thanks for all the feedback! I just ordered the Asics Gel Nimbus 16 from roadrunner sports. I was able to combine the 15% VIP discount with a 20% code I found online, so it was $130 with tax, and I'll be able to try them out.
I am so bummed, but these are the only ones I found (at least from roadrunner, where I can try for 90 days) that came in a size 5!
