Day 16. I had a dream that I had an ice cream scone at Starbucks. Those don't even exist. I shoved it down my mouth and then had a realization that I cheated and cheated bad! Lol!
I real life, I have had a few small tidbits of gum because I like chewing it when I run. Oh well. It wasn't even a full stick. And I'm not guilty!
Dh and I cooked like fiends last night and it will probably last just today.
Overall we are doing well, I can't see myself changing too much after this. I'd like some beans in my diet and less animal proteins.

Today is my day one! I am excited!
The reintroduction seems VERY FAR AWAY, but I know of some things I would like to be able to regularly eat that are not Whole30-compliant. One thing is steel cut oatmeal. Another is some sort of sweetener, I think. I could probably remain mostly gluten-restricted fairly easily though...except for the occasional meal out or birthday cake. Oh, and wine. I will eventually add wine back in!

I have been about 97% compliant (sorry not sorry), and plan to stick with this as long as I can. I start to panic when you tell me I can't do or have something, which leads to me going completely off the rails. My 97% (very scientific) is working for me - I feel great and don't want all the things! So, no real reintroduction for me.
I am trying to reintroduce dairy today. I am not planning on eating it regularly, just incorporated in my once or twice a week cheat meals. So far I ate a yogurt. I feel okay physically, but I feel so guilty!! It's really not logical that I am so guilty over a 90-calorie yogurt, haha.
Total weight lost: 13 lbs <-----super stoked about that!
I plan on sticking to mostly compliant foods. I was going to do the reintroduction as prescribed, but I think I'm just going to occasionally indulge. I may have already had my ice cream last night. I ordered a kiddie size, but it was still kind of big. My body reacted ok, but I wouldn't say it 100% tolerated it. Anyways, I think I'm just going to keep on chugging for now. Weekends will probably include 1 non-compliant meal.
