We are tentatively thinking of a family Sharknado themed costume.

Blb isn't in school but at daycare they have started focusing on fall themes lessons and activities. Yay!

She's crying lately just from generally not being able to do just exactly what she wants to do. She's laughing at herself and at her ability to make us laugh. Especially hiding an "scaring" us.

Well she was really digging on the wild rice and mushroom soup I posted about yesterday so id say that's a favorite. She loved dried apricots too lately.

This is a picture from yesterday. She's wearing a new fall outfit from grandma. I hate that pacifier! "Fah-Fu". But I'm weaning her. She only gets it when she is sleeping in her crib at home. She has it here bc she just woke up and hadn't put it away yet (which she does voluntarily every morning!)

Costume - I really wanted oldest to be man with the yellow hat and baby to be curious George but lately S wants to be Kermit the frog. So one of those 2. So baby will be curious George or miss piggy. I really want a duo

No school yet. She might get to start preschool in January.

I think laughing and crying changes day to day. Usually it's having to pick up her stuff. Baby it's being set down for too long

Favorite food - lately S has been in to apple slices.

Have you decided on a Halloween costume for your kids? BKb is going to be mini mouse, although she suddenly changed her mind and now want to be repunzel, but I already purchased her mini mouse costume so she needs to deal. I'm hoping once she sees it she'll be too excited to wear it and won't care that it's not rapunzel.

For those who have kids in school, how was their first week? SHe's back at daycare after a week break. She was hesitant at first, but now happy to be back playing with her friends and teachers.

What is making your baby cry/laugh this week? Not getting what she wants and being tired. She stayed at IL this past week end and picked up a few bad habits, like she wines I want something instead of please can I do this thing I want to do. SHe's also been sad because she misses us from us not being with her over the week end. I have tomorrow off with her so hopefully that'll cure some of that.

Favorite food? Cheese Pizza and Sushi. I would say cheese pizza but when I ask her to pick one she says she wants both.

We're still working on potty training. She goes in the potty almost 100% of the time, but she won't ask we have to make her/tell her to go. She is still working on #2 as well. MIL is afraid to put her in undies so that really isn't helping. I'll put her in undies if she wants to wear them when we get home for the night. She had a couple accidents at first but she seems to be getting it down.

Have you decided on a Halloween costume for your kids?
My mom and I are going to look at patterns Saturday. Every other year he will have one of my hand me downs (except the year I was rapunzel lol) because my grandma hand made all my costumes and they are really nice.

What is making your baby cry/laugh this week?
 He LOVES when I stick my tongue out at him after he sticks it out at me and having his legs bicycled and kisses. I showed him the mirror and he is NOT A FAN of mirror mommy. It freaks him the fuck out. I think it's both the funniest and saddest thing ever. 


Favorite food?
 BOOB!

Peek-a-boo and tickles make him laugh.  Leaving him at daycare, crying, not getting juice make him cry.


Favorite food?
Hmmm...he's been in to sweet potatoes again lately after being totally over them for a while.

Have you decided on a Halloween costume for your kids? Not yet and I really need to figure it out!

For those who have kids in school, how was their first week? Ds starts at a new daycare (in my office building) in the toddler room tomorrow. I am happy and sad. And really nervous. He is only one of two kids not walking. He is small and younger than the other kids. They only do 1 nap a day and he doesn't do that yet. And he will be in school a long time because of my work hours... Closer to 8-5:30 whereas DH usually took him in between 8:30 and 4.

What is making your baby cry/laugh this week? He is laughing at every thing but especially loving doing back flips off my lap.

Favorite food? Yogurt, still! And shredded Mexican beef. Weirdo.

Pretending to trip, dripping things on purpose and print things on our heads. Also the word poop.

Favorite food?
Figs, but he likes almost everything.

Have you decided on a Halloween costume for your kids? Not yet! We were thinking about doing a family Bob's Burgers costume but that'll require my parents' participation (they'll be in town that week to babysit when I go back to work).

For those who have kids in school, how was their first week? She starts daycare the first week in November. I'm both excited and terrified. It's coming up so quickly!

What is making your baby cry/laugh this week? She smiled at me yesterday while I was singing to her ... but then she farted. So who knows.

Favorite food? Formula. I'm still bummed about it but trying to accept it and move on.
