24 hours in Toronto?

Good day, travelers-

We are driving to Muskoka country from Buffalo, NY at the end of August. Thinking of doing an overnight in Toronto to eat, shop, etc.

any tips for a fun, funky area to stay? we will have a car but I prefer to walk to meals, galleries, etc.

Stay in the Bloor/Yorkville area or anywhere downtown - you can walk everywhere.

Things to do - I love Casa Loma, its an old castle a guy went broke trying to build! LOL. Very cool.

I also love doing a beer tour at Steam Whistle brewery.

Lots of people like to go up the CN tower, and now you can do the Skywalk, but I'm scared of heights so I'd stay the hell away. LOL.

The Muskokas is a fantastic area to stay, do you have a place there yet??

Thanks!! I am going to try the CN Tower...I don't think I have a phobia?? I've never really been to a really high place that I can remember? eiffel tower, maybe.

& Yes, we have a cottage on Ahmic lake. Can't wait!
