I have three kids. 8 yr old girl with anxiety disorder and OCD. 3 yr old boy with Apraxia of Speech and Stuttering. And a 2 year old girl, typically developing.
My patience is so shot. I'm a volcano ready to explode.
Not sure what to write in here, but hoping to find other parents in similar situations. thanks!

J was dx with Apraxia and an expressive speech delay when he was 1. He wasn't talking at all. I put him into private speech 2x weekly. It really made a big difference.
Now he's dx with ADHD, ODD, and a bit of SPD. He's exceptionally smart - the tests proved that - but it actually makes it harder. I'm always on the verge of a breakdown. Feel free to pm me anytime.

Glad to see you posting here. There are good days and bad days, and if you've been going through it with little support, I can guess it's just ask building up inside. This is a great place to come and talk it out.
My M has dyslexia and a severe language based learning disability. He is 11 and has no sense of time or understanding of math. While he is continually learning, it is extremely frustrating. He had a congenial heat defeat we repaired when he was 7, and has a few residual issues from that.
My other son, J, is 7, has childhood apraxia of speech, a language-based learning disability, general anxiety disorder, possible ADHD, a possible central auditory processing delay, and a host of other medical issues. He is learning and is pretty good at math and comprehension, so we have high hopes reading and writing will follow.
I'm new to this board too. I just also posted an intro. One of my twins has anxiety D/O and we have wondered about OCD. He has stuttered as well for about 2 years, though it's not quite at the 10% mark so his ST hasn't addressed it yet.
