Do you do coordinating costumes for your twins? What have you done in the past?
I'm guessing once they are old enough they'll want to be individual things as they can voice their own opinions. My girls will be 14 months at Halloween and I'm still trying to brainstorm ideas. Last year we had just gotten home from the NICU and they were on oxygen so we didn't do anything. I'm excited to get them dressed up and taken them to a party or two and to see my neighbors!

I do coordinating since mine still don't know that they can say what they want to be :-)
When they were tiny they were peas and carrots, last year they were Thing 1 and Thing 2. This year they will be either Bo Peep and a sheep or Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. I can't decide.

The first year they weren't coordinating, last year they were a cow and a puppy, so sort of coordinating?
I want to do something fun this year, but they are starting to get old enough to pick. I got a crazy idea to do M&M's since their names both start with M. I've also thought about Mickey and Minnie.
I've done coordinating so far. This year my kids might care what they are and be different things. The previous years they were Thing 1 & 2, Pooh & Tigger, Luke Skywalker & Darth Vader, and a pair of dice.

The girls have never matched, besides first year they were pumpkins. I think they'll want to be friggin Anna and Elsa this year, along with 99% if the girls out there. Dh wants the little one to be Yoda, of course. We shall see

The first real Halloween they were both lambs. The girl had a pink bow on her ear though. Last year they were gnomes. I can't find the pics right now, but they were ADORABLE. And the costumes were only $20 each at Target (online).

We want to do gnomes but can't find any cute girl costumes!! I think ppl might judge if we dress them as bit gnomes.

That was a typo for boy. I'm sure that girl costume is super cute with a boy gnome, but I think it would look weird with two girls...
What? No, two girls would be adorable!!!!!
I agree if you can find the right size I think two girls would be really cute. Currently we are trying to find the pieces to put together peanut butter and jelly costumes or we are thinking thing 1 and thing 2.

This is their first Halloween and one is going to be a carton of milk and the other will be a cookie. It's a semi DIY costume so I hope it won't look too terrible. We should do a multiples OOTD thread on Halloween!

We had two years of being able to coordinate, after which they were old enough to have opinions about what they wanted to "be" that couldn't be swayed by a "what do you think about this awesome idea?!" conversation.
They've been... The Chicken and The Egg (the egg came first, btw)
This year they wanted to choose their own costumes because they didn't want to look the same. One is Monster High and one is Ever After High, because THAT'S DIFFERENT MOM! Whatever.
We've really never done coordinating costumes. Their first Halloween they were about 6 weeks old and I didn't do anything. When they were 1 they had a monster and a puppy ( if I remember). One year they were a bat and a skunk. They were an astronaut and a EMT last year. This year they asked to be PAC-man and Dr. Buttocks. The child asking to be Dr. Buttocks will not be going as that. He's rather pissed at me but I'm not caring.
