I might not be 100% right, but this is what I know of the plan so far. I'll have my 3rd beta tomorrow and that will be it for blood work as long as it's normal. I'm scheduled for ultrasound on 9/23 and won't actually see the RE until then. I'll have the U/S first and then meet with her to discuss it. It sounded like from there I will likely graduate to seeing my regular OB.
6 weeks 7 weeks 9 weeks 11 weeks 12 1/2 weeks for NT scan
Usually my RE would see you every 2 weeks. I went back at 7 since we saw 2 sacks at 6 weeks and she wanted to verify both babies were there and attached. The NT scan was optional but I chose to do it based solely on the fact that it was 1 extra ultrasound with me RE I then bawled like a baby when I had to leave the practice.
Oh and each time I went in I had a blood test then ultrasound. They mainly checked my thyroid since I'm on meds and progesterone. I was able to drop to PIO every other night and stopped all together when I turned 11 weeks. Metformin I stopped after my NT scan. And I'm so grateful that the nurse there is a rockstar at drawing blood. The ones at my OB office can almost never get my blood the first try.
I had 3 betas, but they were all at the hospital. I had my first appointment this past Tuesday and I'm supposed to have one next week. I've been spotting all week so I'm having one tomorrow as a precaution, then I'll reschedule next weeks for the following. So three ultrasounds with the RE, then I go to the OB 2 weeks following that.

I had 1 beta (at a lab) and got a phone call. It was high and we were doing TI, so I think that had something to do with my experience. Since my beta was so high (~4000) they didn't do a 2nd. I had an u/s at 8 weeks. We saw the baby and heard the heartbeat on the internal u/s, and then I was graduated! My ob's office scheduled me for the next week but I didn't have an u/s.
I have my 12 week appt & NT scan next week. I can't wait to see the baby. I'm getting anxious. All those u/s to check for follicles and now I have to wait to see the BABY??? LOL
I had ultrasounds at the RE at 6, 7, 8, and 9 weeks. Then I was done. It was weird.
I had the NT scan, the anatomy scan, and a random 32 week ultrasound (my OB just sends people, I don't know why) at the MFM with the big fancy screens. That was cool, and it was fun to have so many ultrasounds.
Also, about two weeks after the DD was born, the nurse called from the RE to see if I had had the baby. I'm sure it was just for their numbers and keeping track of things (I had been part of a study), but it was kind of cool to feel like they thought of me.
I had 3 betas and 5 ultrasounds with me RE and they also checked progesterone and thyroid. (not counting the U/S at the ER) I had my first OB appt at 10 weeks, will have my NT scan at 12w6d and then the 20 week anatomy scan. It's kind of hard to go from seeing the baby every week to not seeing it.
With my first pregnancy (that ended in a loss) we had 1 u/s at 6ish weeks and were d/c cause there was a HB and everything looked good. With this one 3 u/s at 5,7 and 9 weeks. After seeing the HB at 7 weeks I would have been d/c but they did one more follow-up given my history. B/W here is done at an off site lab.

I had 2 betas (2nd also measured progesterone). I also had an u/s appt at 6 weeks. After my 6 wk appt I continued care with my OB (although my RE would have seen me more if my OB was reluctant to do regular/frequent u/s appts for me in 1st tri).
With my OB, I had an u/s at 7w, 8w2d, 10w2d, 12w2d, 15w2d, a/s at 18w2d, and another u/s at 22w3d. I've had a lot of u/s!!

I am seriously hoping that I get to stay with my RE for a few weeks, or that my GYN will see me all of the time. I am having serious anxiety about all this right now.
