If you had/have no external force driving you to shave your legs, (e.g., your SO didn't care, no societal pressures, pants-only wardrobe, etc.) how often would/do you shave them?

I shave them depending on what I'm wearing that day. In the summer they get shaved much more frequently for skirts and shorts. In the winter, feel sorry for my husband.
I'm "as needed" - as in if I'm going to be wearing clothes where my legs are exposed, I shave. So, during the warmer months, it's possibly daily (although during the work week, even if I am in shorts at home, no one besides DS and DH are going to see me), but usually at least a couple times a week.
During the winter- who the heck knows. I'm LAZY.
But I also have very fine leg hair that isn't super visible, so it doesn't bother me all that much. I actually just felt my legs. There is stubble, but to look at them, you'd have to look HARD to actually see it.

Well I already only do once a week/once every 10 days even though I wear skirts almost exclusively. So without outside societal pressure the sky is the limit really.
Every day here! I swim, wear running and bike shorts, wear dresses during the day. I hate the feeling of stubble on my legs. In the winter I don't mind every other day or every two days.
If there were no societal standard for shaved legs, I probably wouldn't shave at all. I would assume that it's normal, like the hair on my arms. Plus, if society hadn't told me it was weird I probably never would have learned because my mom didn't/doesn't shave so it wasn't the norm in my house growing up.

I shave every other day while the weather is warm enough that I wear shorts. However, during the cold months (9-10 months of the year) I shave maybe once a month. My H doesn't get a say because while we were on our first date he said he didn't care if a girl shaved her legs often or not. (We talked about some weird crap on our first date.) Anyways, score for my free pass on hairy legs for the rest of my life.
If it wasn't a societal norm, I'd never shave my legs.
Oh wait, I didn't read the post that came along w/ the poll. No societal pressures, probably never would have even started shaving.
I went 2 months during the winter once in Boston (long pants and no bf or anything). It was fine, but it was a bitch to shave when I finally got around to it.
Yeah, I really only shave for H. Otherwise, I'd probably shave a couple times a year, when I might be wearing formal attire or, I don't know, swimming in a race? Lol.
I started shaving in junior high because the other girls who already started called me Tarantula. My hair was very fine and light, so I really doubt they could even see the hair, but you should have tried telling me that then. I was convinced I looked disgusting.
I don't. I did for my wedding, but that's the only time in the last few years. I'm very fair and have very little hair anyway, also I work jobs populated generally by dirty hippies so it's ok
I told my younger cousin when she was like 14 that if anyone was lucky enough to be touching my legs they best not be complaining. She was floored.
Seriously though I hate shaving, husband doesn't care, society can go fuck itself. If I had gorilla hair I might reconsider though.
