Random review of old-ish product: I have had two samples of Smashbox Full Exposure in my bathroom for over six months now, warping from the humidity of all the showers taken. I finally decided to try them and am pretty impressed.
The colors are neutral but very blendable, which is great for someone like me who tends to inadvertently overdo dark powder because I'm not paying attention as I sweep my brush back and forth, back and forth. At first I didn't like the colors in the sample, which I believe is half the size of the actual palette, because they seemed too similar, but now I wonder if my Naked Basics actually tries to cover too much of the spectrum with just six shades. Buffing out lines is much easier when the shades are close.
I swore a little while back I was done buying eye shadow but I'm tempted. I suspect what's going to stop me is that I only really want the matte shadows, and half the palette is shimmer.

I adore the color range in that palette and had the same experience with the mattes on the postcard.
The shimmers in that palette are universally hated. Apparently they work well if you use setting spray on your brush but otherwise, they suck. So I've been resisting buying it for the same reason.
But if you want a better range of mattes than Naked Basics, have you seen this one?

Another FOTD using Vice 3. Also, rose gelee, too faced melted berry, too face better than sex mascara, nyx curve liquid liner, rimmmel black liner, physicians formula cc cream, nyx blotting powder and Anastasia brow wiz in auburn.
I put all this on to go get my brows done. Also wearing a race shirt, jeans and sneakers. Probably don't mix well.
So I did my whole face, decided I did not like it, washed and redid it. I still don't like my face. My plans for the day today are to walk the dog and buy boxed wine.
Also Luminous Flush in the Hourglass palette is fucking bright. I applied it and it looked more like Luminous Ebola Fever. On round 2, I went with a lighter hand, but I can't figure out what eyeshadows one is supposed to wear with neon pink blush. Or maybe it is not a good color on me. I do really love the other two colors though.

This actually makes me happy about having ordered it because I don't have neon pink blush and I was afraid they would all look the same/look like what I already have.

Off the top of my head, Bite Rose with Orgasm gloss over it. TF Naked Dolly. Nyx Tiramisu gloss.

Oh and to actually answer your question I would personally go with a cool grey or brown or something really neutral like the NARS duo I know you have.
ESF sorry thought you said lipsticks. Whoops. Anything. Lumm a Flush has a lot of gold in it so if you have anything in the gold family, cool or warm, such as Naked 1, 2, or 3!

I have luminous flush but mine is definitely not neon pink. I liked it so much better when I applied it with the RT blush brush though.
If yours is really neon pink then I would stick with nuetralish eyeshadows.

I have examined it closely and I think mine doesn't have enough marbling in it. So it's really, really pink. I started off with warm browns from my Smashbox Heatwave palette and it looked weird, and not just because I looked sunburned. Then I just did a bit of the pink from the Nars duo. It looks better but still not right. It could just be that I'm not used to this much color on my face.
Clearly, the solution here is to get the ambient lighting palette to help tone it down.
I've also read complaints that some of these speciality palettes sometimes don't exactly match the colors in the singles. Maybe that's the problem here?
I did some damage. These are gifts from my husband to me: Bite mini aubergene Bite mini poppy/scarlet Naked 3 Ole henriksen lemon peel The sephora liner set
I then got Ole henriksen sheer transformation Ole henriksen truth is in the eyes Ole henriksen truth serum The 500 point smash box set Clinique take the day off cleansing balm Jack black travel set for my husband Clinique for men mattifying moisturizer.
We are overhauling our skin care regimen if you couldn't tell
I have a potentially dumb question about the UD Naked shadows. Are the pallettes better suited for different skin tones? Or are they supposed to be universal and work on everyone? I'm thinking of getting one but I want to make sure I buy the right one for my coloring.

Not a dumb question! Nakeds 1 and 3 are warm-toned, while Naked 2 is cool-toned.
