Didn't someone else say they had one color in the Ambient blush palette that was too light? Maybe ESF got all their pigment.
Lol! There is definitely less white marble in mine.
Actually though, the middle, peachy one is the one that people complain about. Interestingly, that one is my favorite of the bunch.
The middle one is the one I had that had not enough pigment. I sorted through 5 boxes at the store and rebought one that seemed to have more pigment but I haven't tried it yet. I'll report back.

I am putting together my VIB order:
BareMinerals Bare Skin foundation A beauty blender (an associate used one on me in-store, and I loved the finish) Urban Decay eye liner in matte brown Bite lip pencil in Honey Berry (color is described as "toasted almond")
And from Ulta, I got one of Essie's new holiday colors, Jiggle Hi Jiggle Low -- it's a metallic gold; and also Nyx Butter Gloss in Praline.
I just gave my BFF her makeup related Christmas presents! She lives out of state so I worry I won't see her before Christmas. I got her the tarte double ended contour brush. It is so very soft and awesome. I highly recommend it. I also got her one of the becca shimmer pressed powders. I hadn't seen it in person but it seems highly regarded on the sephora chat board. It is so pretty! I also got her a poppy and oak (?) contour powder. I got a powder one and a cream one so she could pick what she liked and I will keep the other for myself;)
A year and a half ago, I bought a Laura Mercier blush in Winterbloom, and it's like, the exact perfect color for my skin, so it's all I use. But I swear to you, despite wearing it every time I put on makeup, it still looks new. I am not even close to hitting pan. It's a miracle. It's like the Hanukkah story, except with makeup (1 Sephora 4:36).
On a related note, let's talk face brushes. I have two, both RTs, the stippling brush and the blush brush. I like them both, but in need more and my parents will buy them for me for Christmas, so I may as well get some good stuff.
I definitely want a fan brush. Recs?
Also, I feel like I need another brush for blush. I love how the RT blush gets everything diffuse and nice but it's not good for when I want more control. Ideas?
I also want something for all over powder. Recs?
Finally, if anyone has any thoughts as to whether it's worth upgrading to a better stipple brush, I am interested in hearing them.

I have this it cosmetics blush brush and it is my very favorite brush if all the ones I have. Sephora makes an angled blush brush that looks good that is a little smaller if you want even more precision.
I've made more purchases too. I ordered another audacious lipstick and that double exposure palette and the sephoras favorites face wash set and lots of other things I am sure. I've made several orders at this point...

Me too.
I really hope these boxes get delivered during the days that H is working so I don't have to explain why there are four separate deliveries from Sephora

I can't wait to hear your thoughts on the Double Exposure palette.
I am seriously thinking of ordering one or both of the weird Smashbox serpent palettes on sale for $18. Look at the colors! They are so pretty.
New hair cut and color and some green eyeshadow from Vice 3 with Tarte Jungle Green eyeliner. Blush is MAC fever (Still LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this color. Everyone needs to own this color). Lips are BeneBalm, which I also really love. Super hydrating with beautiful sheer color.

In other words, I may be making another Sephora purchase.
I absolutely love In the Moment. For $20 ($16 really) I think everyone should have it!
The UD Pulp Fiction palette is on sale which is almost tempting but the colors are still boring as hell. I don't think I can talk myself into it.
Also on sale: Tarte Golden Days, Sultry Nights which doesn't have the best reviews but I think someone here liked it? It's been on my radar for a while.
I don't need another order, I don't need another order...

forreals, I'm intrigued. What do you like so much about it?
My real techniques brush is fine but is too big and fluffy for more precise placement. This brush is super soft and feels so luxurious when I use it. I feel like I am pampering myself with my blush:) It picks up an amount of product that I like, blends well, and the angle lets me place the blush more easily. I don't really have cheekbones so this helps me just get the area I want but it's not so small that I end up with blush stripes. I still use a fan brush for super pigmented blushes.
I never thought five shades of matte brown could look so amazingly lovely.
This really is lovely! I may order this now during the sale just to give it a whirl, although I have zero need for any more neutrals and probably have exact dupes for all of these at this point.
I did use Basics this morning and of course fell in love all over again. That's how this merry-go-round seems to work, though.
