S/O ESF hitting pan on the becca blush, I gave my friend her Christmas gift this weekend and it included becca skin perfecting pressed powder as a highlight and it is GORGEOUS! I loved it so!

I have been wondering about these. Are they just finishing powders? Highlighters? Both?
How did it compare to the Hourglass Ambient powders?

I ordered on Friday and it already arrived today! However only 1/3 samples I picked were in the box, they checked all 3 off on the invoice so they didn't even replace the missing ones

They didn't replace? That sucks! My (first) order came today and I only got one of the three samples that I picked, but I did get replacements plus extra perfume samples to make up for it.

I didn't put it on myself but it looked so beautiful on her when she brushed it on top of her cheek bones. I bought it for her to use as a highlighter. The description says you can use it either say though. I imagine one would need a light hand to use it everywhere.

I have my FOTD from yesterday. H was performing in a recital/concert and I felt like it was necessary to dress up a little bit more. I ended up using one color from most of my palettes (Vice 3, MUG Cosmopolitan, Chocolate Bar, and Tarte).

Can someone talk to me some about the Vice 3 palette? Versus maybe Too Faced? Or even Nyx? I was all set to get the Vice 3 -I have a Vice 2 and I love it and am down to the pan in several colors, but a lot of the bloggers seem to be complaining that this set is not as blendable, and when I've tried them in the store, I'd agree. Maybe I need some alternate suggestions? I am not a neutrals girl. I have plenty of that. What I loved about Vice was all of the bold colors and chances to mix some really interesting shades on the lid. If Vice 3 isn't the way to go, does anyone have other suggestions for me?
"This prick is asking for someone here to bring him to task Somebody give me some dirt on this vacuous mass so we can at last unmask him I'll pull the trigger on it, someone load the gun and cock it While we were all watching, he got Washington in his pocket."

I love it. I honestly haven't noticed any of the problems that others talk about.
Too faced has a fun colorful small palette called "a la mode"; it's nice too. It has the bronzy/pink/dark blue shades similar in Vice 3.
Eta: I do not like the brush or the packaging of vice 3. It's poop.

Very nice!!! Did you get a haircut or do something different? Your hair looks especially fabulous.

I am on the fence.
I think Vice 3 has the best colors of any palette. I really love the colors. It's easy to create lots of looks using only that palette. But I find it really hard to blend and the fallout annoying.
I don't regret buying it. I am happy to have it and I am having a lot of fun with it. But I also wouldn't replace it if I dropped it or lost it or something.

Aw, thanks! It was the first day of using my new Deva products so I'm thinking that stuff is just magic.
Tomorrow marks a week for my ole kit. My pores look the same size, but my redness around my nose seems to have decreased, and my face is smooooth. No acne either, which is impressive.
I wont repurchase the eye cream, and it's too soon to tell about the walnut scrub. I'll probably buy the three wonders set since it seems cost effective to see how I like it all over a longer time span. My real dilemma comes in the day cream. My face was noticeably drier over the weekend when I didn't use it, but it's an extra $55. It also feels a little heavy, and I don't need the Spf. I may look into other Ole day moisturizers.

I placed my final order, the tarte lipsurgence set, but I didn't use the sale code bc I wanted to get the gift bag with the black honey , I figured it was worth $7.
I'm thinking that with twins on the way in a few short weeks, I'm not going to have much time to do my makeup but I can always put some pretty lipstick, lol.

I had a whole "makeup strategy" for being in the hospital after giving birth, and this was actually PRE MAKEUP THREAD ME!
Congrats on the babies! I didn't know this!! How exciting!!

Fucking makeup industry. Just as tempting at the indie level as at the corporate level.
I got two things: an eyeshadow pencil in Baby (Dirty Dancing) and the Winsome Lipstick.

Thanks! I'm thinking I might keep my old tube of Nars concealer, eyeliner, mascara and some cream blush in my purse, in case I go into labor unexpectedly and don't have my bag packed yet, lol.
