Stila in the Light, Garden, and Know are all on sale for $20 at Sephora. I imagine they are on their way out permanently. I love In the Light and Moment so much that I may by the other two just because.

persa I haven't actually used it yet to apply makeup so perhaps I spoke too soon. Hahaha! But it is super soft, doesn't seem to shedding, and the fact that it is retractable seems invaluable. First, you can cap it without smushing any bristles, and it will stay clean for travel. Because it is retractable it can be firm or looser so I can use it for various purposes.
I need your opinions, wise ones. I want some sort of highlighter for winter. I like that glowy/dewy look in the winter (but not sparkly). Is that what ambient lighting palette is for? Am I better off just buying one shade? I am pale/milky white, lol.
Yes.
Laura Mercier also has a fantastic highlighter that glows without glitter.
I received all 3 of my Sephora orders already and they sent me an e-mail giving me 250 points also. Crazy.
Today one of my coworkers complimented me and said I always look like I have a nice glow. I told her about teh Hourglass ambient lighting powders and blushes. Spreading the evil!!
Smokey eye for dummies using mally TriBeCa taupe mini palette. I used the kvd liquid liner I got in some kit to do a winged line which I mildly screwed up.
Dr perricone no foundation serum, ambient lighting palette and one of the blushes from the palette. Nars barbara

Who got the wonder lip paint in their ipsy bag? How are you applying it? I used my finger, and I don't think that's the way to go.
I got the wonder lip paint, and tried applying it with my finger too. WOW - if I ever want to go goth, there's my product. It was a definite before-picture moment.
It worked better to apply a very thin coat with a lip brush, but it's still not my color. I don't know if they sent the same shade to everyone - mine is called "red potion". It's more of a purple-red bing cherry color on me, and too strong for my coloring. After blotting, applying lip balm, and repeating a couple of times, I could wear it without startling myself when I looked in the mirror.

I started out BMT with one palette (naked 2) and two mini Stila travel palettes. Since the makeup thread I've bought the Rainforest palette, in the moment, in the light, and naturally pretty. Last weekend I bought Too Faced Everything Nice and Tarte's Away Oui Go. Today I bought Stila's in the Garden and the smoked palette. #addicted. I can't wait to try last weekends purchases.
I stopped by Ulta to return the smashbox 24 hr primer and tried the IT concealer. I think I like it better than the amazing cosmetics one, it's more hydrating feeling. I would have bought it but I forgot my wallet so I'll go back at some point and get it.
But I returned the primer for store credit so I could pick up a NYX eyebrow shaper stick to try, a neutrogena fast absorbing hand cream and, my biggest score, Deborah Lippmann Fade to Black nail polish for 2.49!!
