Fi does this often, i just look him up and down then shake my head. The best days are the ones where he looks like he spent all day at a funeral..black shirt, black pants, black socks and black shoes.

Me: Did you get dressed in the dark this morning? Him: Well, someone hasn't done laundry yet. Me: OH RLY? Him: I think you misheard me, I said "I love you."

I can't stop giggling at your conversation, that's how H rolls too.
I will say though, H is a great dresser when he wants to put some effort into it. He has nice work clothes and wears them well. It's the weekends when I can't get him out of fishing shorts, t-shirts, flip-flops, and baseball hats that make me crazy.

Yay for a DH who has to wear a company polo to work. On the weekend he's good though, he prefers button down shirts. I have to wear business casual at a minimum to work, so I look like the schlub on the weekends.

lol at your conversation!
I am the nerd in this marriage, but I still dress better than my H. He is a band t-shirt/sports hoodie and khakis/jeans (cargo, of course) type of guy.
Edit: And ditto the kid never matching. Drives me nuts.
