Yesterday I went to a baby fair, had a shower (where I stood to open gifts bc that is more comfortable for me) then came home and put everything away. I'm feeling it today for sure! My back is hurting because I didn't sleep good. Should I ice or heat it? I thought about making a chiro appt but I have one Thursday and really don't feel like going in for just this.
I have much more success with ice vs. heat. My chiro said that heat increases inflammation if you already have it, so I've tried to use where I only have muscle tightness vs pain.

Heat might give instant relief, but ice will help provide longer term relief.
I have heated seats in my car, so if I was walking a lot out somewhere I will turn them on for instant relief. When I get home it's all about my ice packs.
