Woman fends off robbers with mangoes

An 80-year-old Massachusetts woman thwarted an alleged robbery attempt by throwing mangoes at the suspects. Otilia Martins was hit in the head with a gun during the incident. Two suspects were caught a short time later.

Made the front page of the newspaper. Ah, if only we had the internets back then.
