I have been in search of a pair that are comfy for at least a year. Mine are totally falling apart. The problem I have is I have wide feet. I also don't like the kind with elastic around the top because it is noticeable that I am trying to put my shoes back on when people come into the office. Yes I sit at my desk in bare feet.
J.Crew has amazing flats. Amazing. And Old Navy, but those don't have much support (if at all) so they're really only good for if you have a desk job and aren' on your feet very much.
I will say that the Lucky Brand are more comfortable with the Dr Scholls Dreamwalk insoles. I do a lot of city walking and they sometimes hurt before I put those in.
Another vote for Lucky Brand Emmies. I have black and bourbon in a wide width. I slip a heel cup from the running store in them because I have plantar faciitis.
I like J. Crew ballet flats, and have had luck with the Factory version too.
I also like Franco Sarto, and if you don't mind spending the money, Cole Haan.
If you are looking for REALLY comfortable, my SIL swears by AGL. They have cute styles, but the toe box is too long for me. I like a little toe cleavage lol.

I love Tory Burch flats, they are expensive but hold up really well. They are also moving away from the style with the elastic on the back so you can find them marked down and at places like Nordstrom Rack. I also like the lucky brand emmies, but the toe box can be tight.

I just got these leopard flats from Target. To me they are super comfortable, but I know some people say they don't think the Target ones are very comfy. I just sized up a half size since they have the elastic, so they don't pinch my heels.
