cooler weather, YES! what kinds of pj's are your kids wearing these days?
pictures! mrsleftypicksthemusictoratoratorishevacc 5- pictures, or you're booted from the island. you too, jamer. you're baby is pretty new, and you've recently come back to visit us! we need to catch up
Next appt is 3 years for big one and 4 months for little one
Milestones - none that I can think of for oldest. She knows her shapes, counts to 20, abcs (misses same letter every time though). Imaginative play is happening a lot more which is fun. Little one is napping on her own lots more! that is HUGE for me. And taking a bottle! Lots of good stuff happening with her
PJS - little one is in a onesie in merlin sleep suit and when she wakes up she is in bed with me so she stays plenty warm. Oldest is in spider man jammies most the time now
I'm actually at a computer now so I'll post some pics
last/next appt? Weight check last week. He's 20% in weight and 78% in height. One month prior he was 44% (grew 2.25" in one month!). He's barely gaining weight (3oz/mo, losing grounds in percentiles), but is on track otherwise and is getting tall fast, so we continue to monitor only.
milestones? He can climb/slide the right way off couches/our bed. He dances. Claps when you say "yay," lifts his hands up in the air when you say "up" or "arms up" (on floor, in high chair respectively), gives high fives. Crawls up/down sorry flights of stairs.
cooler weather, YES! what kinds of pj's are your kids wearing these days? Totally depends on the night. T shirt and PJ pants, cotton PJs (usually footless bc he's tall and thin), sometimes fleece. When we've camped we layer and I'm sure we'll be doing that soon enough (old house, bedrooms in converted attic).

how old is baby/bump? 5 weeks, 1 day.
last/next appt? Next appointment isn't until her 2-month check in October, but I might try to get her in sooner for a weight check because I'm a nervous mommy.
milestones? She's legit smiling at me. When I sing to her, talk to her, tickle her, oh my GODDDDDD it's the cutest.
what kinds of pj's are your kids wearing these days? Footie pajamas! Everyone is like "swaddle your babies" but she wants her arms out and this way she can have that and still be warm. Plus I keep finding adorable ones on clearance. But the blue ducky ones she's wearing in the pic below were mine when I was a baby
toratoratori I know everyone has their opinions on swaddling like everything else. But you will be thankful for the no swaddling alter. Once we left the hospital we didn't swaddle either of the girls and they didn't care for it anyways. It was just one less thing to have to go through and adjust them to when they were older and more "opinionated" lol
M is 3 and almost 9 months and J is almost 9 months.
My next apt with J is next week for her 9 month. It's good thing as she oddly has this good size spot on her thigh that is lighter than the rest of her. Kind of looks like we did her in self tanner and forgot a spot?
No real milestones for the girls. J is still just working on her moving, pulling up, climbing and cruising along things. M is just working on her ever expansing vocab and perfecting her attitude
As for jammies M wears whatever she decides to pick out and put together for from her drawer. It definitely gets interesting some nights lol. Then J is in fleece footy jammies as long as its not warm out. Poor girl all the fleece footies in the size she is in right now are all Christmas themed since M was in that size around Christmas time. So yeah, big girl starting the holidays early
boy is definitely walking now, and it breaks my heart that my last baby is walking, and not really a baby anymore. he climbs off the couch by himself and walks away. it's crazy.
bjl is doing better about waking up and not freaking out. she already hasn't cried at wakeup for a while, but she was always calling for me or grandma right away, now she comes downstairs by herself, sometimes pees first. she can pull off her own (nighttime) diaper.
jammies are thin cotton. bjl looooooves her dress, but it will be too cold for that soon.
Jamer I love that far right picture. The expressing is priceless. Tori---ADORable. Seriously.
My child doesn't stop moving for long enough to photograph her. She's 2 years and like 3.5 months or so. We started reading a new book called Blueberry Girl that was given to me while I was still pregnant. It's such a beautiful book...both in its illustrations and and the poem. It was written for Tori Amos's child by the baby's god father. It's a serious tear jerker. I highly recommend it. Blb asks for it all the time now.
Our house is still pretty warm at night from the afternoon sun so she's been still sleeping in her light weight jammies. I just ordered to pairs of fall jammies from Gap but they don't have footies in them. They are super cute!
I love holiday themed jammies but they seem like a waste of money so I got these b/c I feel like she can wear them any time but they are for Halloween.
how old is baby/bump? he is 14 weeks old! aka 3 months and some change
last/next appt? this week, we doubled his zantac dosage. next is at 4 months
milestones? he is trying to sit. if I hold him in a cradle position he will pull himself until he is almost sitting. He is also determined to get his feet. Now, he could really grab them at any damn time but he wants his face as close as possible. Then he gets pissed when he falls over lol. My days are filled with grunts of effort trying t get the toes and then howls of frustration.
cooler weather, YES! what kinds of pj's are your kids wearing these days? Footies!
milestones? Just getting better at walking/running, occasionally surprises me with a new word. We have a book about bubbles and he just said "bubbles" clear as day and I was like, "what?!?"
cooler weather, YES! what kinds of pj's are your kids wearing these days? Just regular jammies instead of sleeping in a onesie. He's jammies are 9 month and they're getting a little small. His jeans are 6 months! He has some 12 month stuff too, but it's a little big. He's such a little guy!

M turned 3 on Tuesday. I still refuse to believe she's not an infant! But then I do have a real infant... And he's 3w5d. He is starting to chub up, coos, and I'm thinking some smiles, but nothing that is reproducible. He sleeps/eats well, but no pattern yet. He is super cute if I do say so myself.
Next appt is next week for B, and I still have to make an appt for M.
B wears onesies and swaddled most of the time. Either that or full body suits. M wears as little as possible to bed, so usually a tee shirt.
