I'm on day 3 and it's been great so far. I don't have any of the sugar or carb cravings that I normally have any a restrictive diet (like south beach).
I was invited to attend a professional event that involved chocolate and local spirits tastings. Had to RSVP no. I'm not that strong

Day 17
So far so good, I am going out to lunch today with some friends after packing my own lunch for 16 days. We are going to a trendy place that serves cafeteria style and I already know what I am going to order, grilled tuna, roasted potatoes, broccolini. I am not going to stress too much about the stuff I cant see and am really looking forward to it.

It is day 3 for me also. It's going really well. I had a headache all day yesterday, but I think it was from lack of caffeine more than anything. I drank a cup of black coffee this morning - not only did it not kill me, it wasn't that bad by the time I was halfway through the cup!
DH is not doing this with me, but he is really enjoying the cooking I've been doing, and is really supportive, so that helps a lot.
Day 8! I cheated and weighed myself because I could not stand not knowing, and I am down 3.5 lbs. in a week! I am pretty happy about that!
I've been weighing myself. I know we aren't supposed to bit seeing the scale go down everyday is motivating to me. I've lost three pounds since I last weighed myself on Sunday morning. I started this program on Monday. Exciting!
Mmm that sounds so good. There are a lot of up front costs to get the specialty ingredients. I decided to hold off on the coconut aminos but I really like using soy sauce. Is it a pretty good sub?
